What is true bar means in stainless steel?
True Bar in stainless steel means the manufacture of the bar is rolled on the thickness and the width, attaining a more 90 degree relationship to thickness and width, unlike sheared and edged condition stainless, which is sheared from stainless plate, which offers a rough, usually out of square edge. True bar also may be defined as HRAP (hot rolled annealed and pickled), thus if you see a listing 304/304L HRAP, it is a True Bar, as this is a stainless rolled product.
Why Necessity of teeth provided on pinion and spur wheel?
Without the teeth meshing together, there would be no transfer of power/force from one pinion/spur wheel to its neighbour. Without the teeth on the main drive shaft gear wheel, you would not be able to turn the rest of the pinion and spur wheels.
What is a geared limit switch?
The simplest form of control of an electric motor is a switch. In most applications a motor may be allowed to run continuously for lengthy periods, for example, in a fan. However, if a motor is being used to power a crane or to lift a large door it must be made to shut off when the object it is moving reaches a limiting point, whether or not a human operator notices that the limit has been reached. Shutting off an electric motor under this type of condition is the function of a limit switch.
In many cases the object being moved makes more or less direct contact with the switch or it does so via some form of lever. However, there are cases where the object might be moving either too fast or too slow to properly operate a switch. In these cases a geared limit switch will be used. The gears in the switch transform the movement of the object being moved to match the needs of the switch. I have mentioned speed of movement. There are other possibilities too. It might be necessary to convert rotational movement to up-and-down movement to control the switch, or various other kinds of movement. Clearly the exact nature of the gears inside the limit switch will vary depending on the transformation required.
What is the meaning of f6 trim in globe valve?
You will have to consult the manufacturer. A cast iron or steel globe valve could be trimmed (disc and seat) with bronze, iron, steel, stainless steel stellite, ceramic, rubber, neoprene, viton....or any series of different trims. The manufacturer usually determines trims by code numbers. Kinka valves indicates that this trim material on their valves is 304 stainless steel (13% chromium, and nickel content).
this problem could be caused by any number of things. Is there any scrape marks on the material, or on the punch and die set ?. ( this could indicate an alignment issue between the upper and lower C axis, or an incorrect ram height setting. Have you had a major collision recently ?. If you can supply more information, I may be able to help narrow down the cause.
Fracture mechanics is the study of how cracks form and propogate through variuos materials. Often times during design an engineer will assume a crack in the material to or use x-ray to determine the size of cracks in the material. Fracture mechanics approaches require that an initial crack size be known or assumed. For components with imperfections or defects (such as welding porosities, inclusions and casting defects, etc.) an initial crack size may be known.
The raw steel specification A36, has a maximum tensile strength of 80 ksi. This is the same maximum strength as ASTM standards like A307 grade C or F1554 grade 36. I'm not familiar with any other specifications that would use A36 and have a higher maximum strength. The A36 steel would be out of tolerance if it exceeds a 80 ksi tensile. Being out of tolerance in this way could indicate other properties are also out of tolerance in a less favorable way. The steel would be less ductile, for instance, and impact properties might be reduced.
How do you request change of interview date?

How does the shape of graphite in cast iron affect its properties?
The shape of graphite in cast irons has the following
basic forms:
(a) Flakes. Graphite flakes have sharp edges
which act as stress raisers in tension.
This shape makes cast iron low in tensile
strength and ductility, but it still has high
compressive strength. On the other hand,
the flakes also act as vibration dampers,
a characteristic important in damping of
machine-tool bases and other structures.
(b) Nodules. Graphite can form nodules or
spheroids when magnesium or cerium is added to the melt. This form has increased ductility, strength, and shock resistance
compared to flakes, but the damping
ability is reduced.
(c) Clusters. Graphite clusters are much like
nodules, except that they form from the
breakdown of white cast iron upon annealing.
Clusters have properties that are basically
similar to flakes.
(d) Compacted flakes. These are short and
thick flakes with rounded edges. This form
has properties that are between nodular
and flake graphite.

If you have well water would a crack in the PVC pipes cause air in the pipes?
Any break or leak on the suction side of your pump can cause air in the lines.
What is the radius of gyration of a 45 kg grindstone and a moment of inertia of 5 kg-m2?
I=mr2 therefore r = root (I/m) = root (5/45) = 0.333 recuring
Which one is better metal arc or spot welding?
it is not a question of which is better. the welding types are chosen according to our own requirements
What is single thread of screw thread?
when lead of the screw is equal to the pitch it is called single threaded screw
How do you reverse the direction of rotation in a pneumatic motor?
Usually swapping the inlet and outlet connections will do this, depending on the design of the motor.
How hot does your boiler in your house get?
200 temp on resident water heater
180 is ok BUT in extreme cases over 225 is used and according to the ASME /NBBI 250 DEG @160 PSI is considered a low pressure boiler
How you connect carbon steel with ductile iron?
Carbon Steel refers to various varieties of steel, hence carbon content is limited to max. 2.1%
Low carbon steel: Carbon content less than 0.3%, also known as mild steel, very soft and ductile, easily machinable.
Medium Carbon Steel: Carbon content varies from 0.3 to 0.5%, responsive to heat treatment, Good machinibility, good tougness and ductility properties and weldability.
High Carbon Steel: Greater than 0.5%C. Greater strength as compared to LC and MC steel, accompanied with hardness, Toughness is imparted through heat treatment.
Ductile Iron is essentially a Cast iron, with max. caron content upto 4-4.5%. Cast irons are generally hard and brittle in nature dur to such high carbon content. But depending upon the cooling rate the ductile iron contains carbon in spheroidal graphite form instead of flake form. This results in the formation of a ductile matrix, hence Ductile Cast Iron is relatively ductile with respect to other cast iron varieties and also it has good corrosion resistant prpoerties.
