What is full film lubrication?

Full film lubrication is a term used in hydraulic pumps and motors to describe the state of oil film between a stationary distributor plate and the rotating parts of the pump or motor.

How do know the kind of career you want in future?

You can never be 100% sure about what you will do in your future until the time comes. However, there are several ways in which you can slowly discover your interests. Take advantage of elective classes, participate in school clubs, join a company or organization, or start a new hobby. Do extra research in the Career Center, Internet, or library. Talk to academic advisors and interview those who have careers. Keep an open mind when deciding your career and explore as many options as you can. Find your passion and apply doing what you love into your future career.

How do you measure diametrical pitch of gear?

Usually with a 4' socket wrench, but i like to use a crescent wrench myself.

Where can you get shock absorptive strong rubber?

Actually, rubber is not a good shock absorber, for it is an elastic material and does not store or dissipate much energy.

Air or other gas is the useful principle in car shock absorbers, where the lossy characteristics of air compression are used to absorb energy.

Forcing oil through a small hole is also used for the same purpose.

How is an unloading valve different from a pressure relief valve?

An unloading valve (or switch) is designed to cycle the machine (typically a compressor) when it reaches control pressure, by cutting off the air supply to the machine, so that there is no air being compressed.

A relief valve is placed on the outlet from the machine, or the inlet to the machine being supplied the compressed air (or hydraulics, for hydraulic systems) such that, if the machine over-pressures the system, the relief valve opens and dumps the excess pressure back to the inlet side of the machine, to a holding tank or some other receptacle. For air compressors it could dump air to atmosphere. As the pressure builds, the relief valve will open more and more to relieve the excess.

Safety valves should also be installed on outlets from compressors to immediately prevent the compressor from damaging the machine or system as a result of over-pressurizing it. Safeties open when relief valves can't control the over-pressure.

These three very different valves are not interchangeable.

What is the temperature inside the ic engine?

The temperature inside the internal combustion engine is approximately (300-400)'c because most of the cylinder manufactured by composition of aluminium alloy and other material.aluminium melting point was nearly the 652'c. so above this temperature it goes to the molten state.

Arc welding can you use it on a car ok?

It is done all the time. I would strongly suggest you disconnect and remove the battery. You do have to stay away from or protect hoses and tubes, like the fuel lines, fuel return lines, and brake lines. It's probably good to connect the ground clamp as near as possible to the welding location. If you are anywhere near sensitive electronics, like the car's computer, you probably should remove them to prevent ground currents from causing damage. Other items that deserve healthy respect are the air bag crash sensors, of which there will be several under the car.

Who invented dead weight testers?

The inventer of dead weight testers was Albert Einstein.

Einstein was involved in quite a few different areas of science, but he was hardly the inventor of dead weight testers. They predated him by a few hundred years.

What is the formula of density of air at particular Temp?

from the equation of state

pressure = density * gas constant * temperature

What can you do instead of welding?

Depending on the application, material to be joined, and the strength needed, brazing, soldering, riveting, screws, bolts and nuts, and using an adhesive are all possibilities.

What inches you can weld with one electrode?

It varies from 3 inches to 13 inches. The electrode type, type of weld, and position of weld all determine how far you can get done with a single rod

What is engine back pressure?

Engine back pressure is a common ailment in faulty engines. It is when the exhaust sends the power to the very back of the vehicle, instead of through its engine.
