Start a new pack of pills on the day that you would normally start, and take your pills everyday at the same time. There are other methods of birth control such as an IUD or Mirena which are convenient because you do not have to remember to take a pill everyday at the same time. I would see your GP about this as it could mean you are pregnant but it could mean a number of other things.

I was on the pill for 10 years before I went off it. We were ttc almost straight away after I came off the pill. I got my withdrawl bleeding after my last pill in the packet and then I had no period for 50 days. Spent a fortune on pregnancy tests cause was getting no period and also had pms before each period which I had never got while on the pill so was convinced that I was pregnant every time. I took about 7 or 8 months before my cycles came anywhere close to normal

For most girls it will start about a month later but it may start a bit later or earlier then that. When you are starting your periods your cycle may vary so it can be at different times. When you reach adulthood you will most probably settle into a regular pattern. If your period is more then 2 months late then you will have to go to your doctor straight away.
