As a partial agonist opioid buprenorphine does not have a linear dose response curve like full agonist opioids do, including morphine. As such there is no direct conversion ratio that can be applied to all doses. At very low doses (<0.5mgs) buprenorphine is 20-50X as potent as morphine, however at higher dose (like those used to treat opioid dependence) buprenorphine is not 20-50x as potent and near or above the ceiling dose, equal doses of morphine becomes effectively more potent. Because buprenorphine has a ceiling to its effects, at and above the ceiling dose buprenorphine's dose response curve remains flat limiting its effects, while morphine (or any other full agonist opioid) continues to increase effect until the patient succumbs to respiratory depression. 32mgs of buprenorphine is NOT equal to 1600mgs of morphine which would kill just about anyone.

Yes you can. But if you are looking for a potentiometer, Cimetidine is the heartburn medicine that is best for someone when on methadone. When you run out of Famotidine, see if you can get some Tagamet or generic Tagamet which is "Cimetidine" then maybe your methadone will go a bit farther.

But studies have shown that neither Famotidine (Pepcid) nor Ranitidine (Zantac) show any negative drug interactions with methadone, they just dont offer the potentiometer effect that you get from Cemetidine (Tagamet).. Hope this helps :-)

I have been a herion addict for about 10 years. I've been in about 50 detoxs, half way houses, sober houses, sectioned 4 times the only thing have never been to jail ( by the grace of god ). What my point is, is that you have to really want it. Who ever tells you getting clean and STAYING clean is easy they're lying. Staying clean is harder because your always going to see something that reminds you of getting high. Like as strange as it sounds I had a hard time seeing a bottle of water, cause I ALWAYS had one on me. But I am on the methadone clinic and it works great for me. I would recommend it to anyone. If you have done the detoxs the houses etc try the clinic really what could it hurt? I wish you the best of luck...god bless

You will not feel the Loratab as the naltrexone will displace it. Loratab is an opiate antaganist and Subotex (one of the ingredients in Suboxone) is an agonist on the opiate receptors meaning that the only thing that you will feel is the agonist. You are wasting your time mixing the two as Naltrexone will make the effects of Loratab null and void. You will feel the Subotex within the Suboxone.

If you want to test negative for these drugs, than you better not use any otherwise you will definitely test POSITIVE FOR MANY MONTHS TO COME.

you can not use, or there are other options such as... fake pee or cleansers that clean out your system in less time than it takes to get out on its own. meth is usually in the system for 3-6 days at the most, opiates usually 3 days, methadone is the exception it can stay for longer depending on how much you use. If you use benzos they will stay in your system for 4-6 weeks or longer.

I have received nitrous oxide at my dentist numerous times while on a high dose (>100mg/day) of methadone. The dentist & my counselor at the methadone clinic were aware of both drugs. I never had a reaction, except possibly needing more gas for the same effect I had without the methadone.

You definitely shouldn't inject MSIR...it has many fillers and binders that are not meant for injection. I would stick with swallowing the pill. Its immediate release, so it really should take no more than 30-40 mins for the effect. I would ask your prescriber for a long lasting narcotic pain reliever (extended-release) then take the IR for the breakthrough pain....If you are doing this to just get high and misusing the drug, go ahead and mainline it...who really cares

No, Percocet is not oxymorphone. Oxymorphone is a combination of oxycodone and morphine. Percocet is just oxycodone, except for 5's and 10's they also have acetaminophen in them.

methadone is a synethic its has its own test to show it, but if you took a urine test and it came back positive and you didn't take methadone then i would have them run a gmcs test bc that will determine what came up as methadone, if you take benadyrl that would come up as a positive for methadone...hope this helps

hmm. i would say NO. phentermine to me is like crystal meth. since it contains basically meth in it. it had my heart beat up like crazy. my heart would flutter & i started getting horrible anxiety. & since methadone is a downer i dont think it'd be smart to take an upper with a downer. i want to loose weight also. & i just dont know what to do nemore. cus this weight gain has me with my life feeling like im on pause. i take vitadone & i see it is helping little by little. havent seen ne weight loss but the sweats & fatigue is gone. i noticed by the end of the month im craving more food instead of sweets. hope this helped.

I doubt it would help the situation much at all. It is very likely from the sounds of what is described that the hands are suffering from the effects of carpel tunnel syndrome, this is a condition where pressure is put on the nerves leading into the hands causing a feeling of numbness and leading to severe pain. this can be corrected with surgery and if you are in Australia is done at no cost to the patient. It is a day surgery procedure. The sooner you see a doctor about it the sooner you will have it fixed,

Severe respiratory depression and low blood pressure, which could stop your heart. It is very dangerous to mix Xanax and Methadone, anyone will tell you that. I know MANY people who have died because of this combination.

I guess it would be okay for you to take a vicodin after 48 hours of you not taking any suboxone. Suboxone has a long half life and that means it stays in your system for a long period of time. First of all, why would you want to only be on suboxone for a week? suboxone doesn't work in a week. And if it does work for you in a week then why would you want to touch a vicodin again??
