NO NO NO!! I learned from experience!! A BAD ONE!! my doc never told me the reaction! Taking Fioricet wipes ALL of the Methadone from your system! For two weeks I dealt with HORRIBLE detox symptoms and thought I was dying! Did some research, stopped the Fioricet and after about 3 days I was 100% better!

You don't. Why would you? Pills are made to be eaten, not shot into your veins. You risk your life. Please reconsider if you are thinking of doing this. At the very least, you risk the possibility of a horrible infection in your blood which could kill you. If you got the pill from a doctor, then just eat the thing like he told you. If it belongs to someone else you shouldn't take it at all. Experiments can be deadly. While you may be looking for a quick high, you may just quickly die. Please reconsider. You may not be exempt from the consequences of making a poor choice.

Morphine describes a lot of different things. If you're talking about natural morphine extracted from opium, from somniferum poppys, your answer is no. If you mean morphine sulfate (prescription morphine pills), you would be half-right, because it's a semi-synthetic opioid. To the best if my knowlege the closest thing to a fully synthetic morphine would be dolophine (methadone).

Yes, this is possible. But rare/unlikely. It depends on how severe the patients opiate allergy is. Point to prove it can happen. My girlfriend is allergic to codeine, she gets a skin rash and the worst itch possible all over the body. She was prescribed vicodin by her dentist after wisdom teeth surgery and he did not have her allergy to codeine in her patient file. She doesn't have any clue that vicodin is an opiate nor the codeine. I call her on my lunch break that day to see how everything went. She tells me... Good and he gave me some pills for the pain. I asked. What!! (Knowing her allergy). She said don't worry they didnt give me Tylenol #3 they gave me vicodin and its working fine i took it almost 6 hours ago. So there you go. No, as long as the dose they are prescribed is correct. However if the dose is to high for to long a person can become over medicated. Symptoms include lethargy, sleepiness, slurring speech, difficulty waking up in the morning, as well as others. Many methadone clinics are privately run which can create ethical issues for providers who may or may not be vigilant in keeping track of patients dose and effects. many people prescribed maintenance doses may not even be aware they are being over medicated, this can cause problems with other medications and activities such as drinking, which is to be avoided. The biggest thing to look out for is the taking of Benzodiazepines which can cause many problems, including death. Usually clinics may refuse service if someone is already taking Benzodiazepines. You are most likely a Methadone client, but that's just my guess. Either way, if you are serious about being on MM wean yourself off the Xanax (in concert w/your prescribing Dr.) If you are still prescribed Xanax be certain your Clinic has a copy of your script because it with show up in a urine test up to one month after last dose.

i dont really have an answer for you. but i take methadone and have tried to get jobs that require drug test. and ive tried taking things that i know works to hide other drugs and none of the things ive tried have worked. methadone i have found out through exsperience is a very potent drug. i havent found anything to mask its presence.you know they say, get help! stop doing drugs, get a job. well you do stop drugs with the help of another drug, prscribed by doctors mind you. try to get a job. and they say no! your on drugs.well, im not bashing your head in to get it am i?anyways if i find the cure ill let you know. bye.

Yeah, don't let yourself become dependent on it in the first place. Abstinence from all toxins (caffeine, THC, etc.; anything that affects your body's natural or baseline rate or ability to eliminate) is recommended. Lots of water and eat, eat, eat. You won't want to eat, and probably will have severe diarrhea, but having food (a well rounded diet) pass through your system will speed the elimination process. Also, weening down your dose over time is better for your mind and body withdrawal symptoms. But, SWIM has found that weening down over two weeks followed by cold-turkey abstinence is best, fastest way through the very unpleasant process. At first SWIM likes to drink lots of Gatorade (for electrolytes; diarrhea dehydrates you by the way - and can cause death or perm. damage if chronic and severe enough) and soups with lots of toast / crackers. Get some "psyllium husk fiber" better known as metamucil fiber suplement. Now, this may seem counter-intuitive because it makes your bowel movements more regular; psyllium is muscilagenous and thus soaks up liquid in the gastrointestinal tract. This will help make diarrhea less severe. Don't over do psyllium just read directions. A great "pro-biotic" food product is "Kefir," it is like yogurt but drinkable and contains 10 diffrerent strains of beneficial flora or intestinal bacteria (yogurt only has 1 to 3 in most cases). You need to repopulate the G.I. tract with good microbes after all the toxic withdrawal chemicals have denuded the natural balance of your body. One caviat for the dairy though; Do Not Start this kefir until the withdrawal and diarhea are over or the dairy will make your a@s burn. Do this process in step and be patient. Always keep wits about and maintain psychological control; withdrawals can cause some serious acute mental disorder, another reason why weening down is better. restoring balance is key. Methadone might only take 3-5 days to get out of your system for a urine test but depending on the dose you are taking you will start to feel the effects of withdrawl starting on day 2-3. Than it might be 30 - 90 days before the effects of withdrawl are completely gone. It is the worst drug to detox off of if you try to do it cold turkey. It's 10x worse than coming off of Heroin and takes 10x as long. I've been on Methadone for 6 1/2 years and was forced into a detox when entering a county jail. I was medicated and my dose dropped from 160 to 0 in about 10 days and nothing after that. I did not sleep for 9 days until I was released and could get back to the clinic and let me tell you, you cant stand being in your own skin. You just want to peel your skin back and scratch your bones. I have heard of people not sleeping for up to 30-45 days. Seek a medical detox. If you have been on it a while, even 6 months to a year, detox yourself slowly and under a Dr.'s supervision. The pain, agony, frustration and all around anguish can be controlled by a DR. who knows what they are doing.

NO. Venlafaxine is in no way related to Opium. It is an anti-depressant and is not at all considered an opiate.

I agree with the above, wanted to add that I know from personal experience that you can take these drugs together IF you have a legitimate need for both. Recreationally, I would not do it. I would start with taking your full daily methadone dose and 1/4 to 1/2 of the Strattera, then increasing slowly to full prescribed doses of both IF you feel OK.

You get VERY sick like the worst flu you have ever had in your life. You can go to a clinic and get Methadone and it will keep you from getting sick.

The answer is yes AND no. Yes because it has a much longer half-life than hydrocodone (it lasts much longer and stays in the sytem longer), but also no because hydrocodone has a stronger euphoric effect. You get more of a "high" from hydrocodone than methadone. But to answer your specific question, is not really possible because they are very different and effect people differently. If you have never taken methadone before and do not have a tolerance for opiates, that a methadone 10mg would be stronger and would get you "higher", but for people with more tolerance a vicodin 10mg(which is hydrocodone) would get you more of a "high". Problem is Methadone will stop giving the euphoric effect within a week, while you will get high off 10mg Vicodin's for maybe a month or 2 before building tolerance and needing more.

I don't think so. All the clinics I've ever been on always took blood to determine your levels. I don't think they'd go through all the extra hassle with th blood if they were able to check levels thru urine. I could be mistaken though.

ive been on methadone mait 5+ yrs i def have bad aches in my bones not 2 mention SERIOUS weight gain and my teth r literaly falling apart but im not sure if it actually causes osteoporosis but trust me it messes ur body up BAD now im stuck and cant get off cuz withdrawl is so bad worse than heroin my advice i would only use methadone as your LAST DESPERATE RESORT

No, they may mix in dye to distinguish where it was dispensed or something for the flavor, but they don't tell you they gave you x amount but really give you less.
