How can I open Office 2007 files in older versions of Office?
You can not. You need to save the files from Office 2007 in compatibility mode if you want to open the files with an older version of Office.
How do you randomly shuffle a column in Excel?
You can't randomly shuffle a column in Excel. Given the nature of spreadsheets, that would not always be a sensible thing to do. If you want to be able to generate a random set of numbers, then you can use the Randbetween function. It will give you a set of random numbers between two values that you choose. For example the following will give you a random number between 1 and 100.
=randbetween(1,100)
Every time you adjust any value on the spreadsheet, or press the F9 key, it will select a new set of random numbers. This can be useful for testing formulas without having to put loads of numbers in over and over again. If the function is not available, and returns the #NAME? error when you try to use it, install and load the Analysis ToolPak add-in, which you can do by choosing the Add-Ins option on the Tools menu.
What is the arithmetic operation that divides contents in a cell?
the division symbol (/)
The arithmetic operator that divides contents of a cell is division.
It really depends on exactly what you want to do with the charts and what data source is used for the charts. Generally you would go for Excel initially. If you wanted to do some fancy presentation with the chart, it could then be copied into Powerpoint.
How much time can you save by using functions in spreadsheet?

How do you quickly add all of the numeric data on a spreadsheet?

What is the difference between a worksheet and a spreadsheet?
Worksheet and workbook are terms specific to Microsoft Excel. A workbook may consist of one or more worksheets. A spreadsheet is the same thing as a worksheet except it is a general term the can be used to describe handwritten spreadsheets as well as spreadsheets created by programs other than Excel; however, Excel worksheets are often called spreadsheets.
How do you fill a SKL with a SKL?
Use the Transmit Database function on one, and the Recieve Database function on the other. Make sure the one Transmitting is set to "Issue" rather than "Fill" to make sure the information copied will be usable from the 2nd SKL.
How do I see my work on a spreadsheet before I print it?
As you are working on it, you can see it. To see what it will look like when it is printed, you use the Print Preview facility.
How we can sum a large range of data by simply selecting a tool button in Excel?

The object in a chart that identifies patterns used for each data series is a what?
The legend identifies patterns used for each series.
What you put inside the brackets of a function are known as arguments. Some functions need a specific amount of arguments to work. If you put too many or too few, the function will not work. Other functions have optional arguments or are less specific about how many they need, so they do not give those kinds of errors. The version or type of file may also affect the functions, as some versions do not have the same functions and so they may not work or may work differently.
How do you get your formula back on your spreadsheet?
That will depend on the reason they have gone. You can view the worksheet as showing data only, or showing the actual formulas. Press Ctrl and the ` key to switch between those views. If your formulas have gone completely, you may have copied over them or imported from another document and your formulas have changed into their values. In those cases, you may just have to manually re-enter the formulas. If you have done a Copy and Paste Special with the Values option selected, you may have replaced the formulas with values. You may be able to undo the changes with the Undo option or by pressing Ctrl - Z. You could also just close your file without saving and then re-open it and then start what you were trying to do again.
How can Excel be used to create a 2013 monthly calendar?

Hello Everyone,
I have a hard time with above graph in excel. I wanna know how to get exact value when the graph line crossing (Intercept) "Y" Axis (highlighted in yellow). Currently I'm doing that by manual. I wanna do that with the help of some kinda formula. I hope anyone our here know how to figure this out please help.
Thanks in Advance.

First, we cannot see your graph, which would be useful. However, it is not necessay. Mathematically, if you know the equation for the graph, then you can work out the y intercept, by checking what value you get for Y when X is zero. So say for example your equation was Y = 2X + 4. Then you would substitute zero for X which would give you a value for Y, in this case 4. You may already know all that and what follows, but anyway I can give it to you. To do that in Excel, you would set up a column for X values and put the range of values you need into the cells in that column. Then put the formula in the column where you want the values for Y in the next column. So say the first X value was in A2, then in B2 you would put the following formula, using the 2X + 4 example and copy the formula down column B:
=A2 * 2 + 4
Then you would have your two columns with X and Y values. You then use the XY Scatter Chart type, picking one that shows the lines and it will draw the graph for you. However, it is worth noting that Excel doesn't always draw the graphs perfectly, so where you see them cross the axes isn't always precise, but for straight line graphs it usually is sufficient and if you look at the graph you will see that.

In Excel a dialox box will appear before you delete a worksheet?
If there is any data in the sheet, then it will give you a dialog box when you try to delete it. If there is no data in it, then it will delete it without a dialog box. This is because you cannot lose anything when you delete it and you can easily add in another sheet if you did want one back.
Can you use the go to dialog box to navigate to a specific worksheet?
If you have a named range on another sheet, or even just specify a cell on it, then yes you can. So in the goto dialog box you could enter something like Sheet2!C3 and it would get you there.
