In my opinion, up-dates can cause more harm to your existing PC programs due to their up-dateness, meaning the up-dates may well be to advance for that particular program you have and can render your PC doing funny things. I avoid them all together. This is only my opinion. There is a saying, 'if something is working, why fix it?'

You can set the margins of the page by dragging the edge of the ruler at the top of the page (you must have the rulers visible for this and the position of the mouse pointer to perform this task is very delicate. The pointer turns into a double-headed arrow at the border between the page's white ruler and the margins grey ruler (at least those are the colors in the default Windows color scheme you can change all of these too).
