My advice to you is to get involved. Whether it is, having a more outgoing personality and getting more involved in meaningful conversations with your class mates or whether it is getting involved in all of the clubs and comittees your school offers. The bottom line is, it is easy to become popular by getting more involved and don't be afraid to try different things. So, who cares if you have always been the shyest your whole life? That doesn't mean you won't have success in taking part of a heated class conversation. Just don't do anything that feels unatural, because when people take it too far to become popular, it doesn't end well. Be yourself and good luck :)

There are various ways a prize distribution ceremony at school could be started, with a speech either by the Principal, Head-teacher or a current student. Other options are a song or dance performance or a reading related to the prizes.

It depends, I'm in 7th grade and i was so worried about fights happening in middle school but all the fights that happen really are the people from the "clique" they verbally fight you but in long run they wont touch you without breaking and nail and screaming.

The age of 14 is to young to date. They are still young and should be playing with toys. I would not let my child start a relationship at such a young age. And, its illegal.

Odds are you wouldn't be the only one in the boat, there'll undoubtedly be others who don't know their way around. Or if you're joining a school midway through the educational term (years 7->11 / Usa equiv) you'll be able to simply follow someone else around, or ask for directions. Someone will be able to provide them, perhaps the teacher as last resort.

The teacher should be the one to be ashamed of his or her behavior. Berating a person is never acceptable especially when the attacker is an adult of authority over a person who is underage. Discussing the matter as to the pros and cons of such a decision is a far better choice. In regards to an "uneducational class" I have no idea what that might be, as one can learn from any experience be it a positive or negative one. I was raised to believe (and do believe) that you never base your self-worth or self-esteem if you prefer, on another person's opinion. Well, first of all, if it's not educational, why is the school offering it? Second, your teacher has a right to opinion, but it should make no difference to you at all. Do what makes you happy, and everyone else can go jump off a bridge or something. I agree with both posters, but would like to add, the teacher used a poor choice of words and possibly wanted you to get enough credits to graduate and if you take this uneducational class you could be risking this. I too have no idea what course could possibly be offered that wouldn't give you the credits you need.

The primary threat could be a computer bursting into flames and burning the school down - unlikely. So the main threat is an attack from outside - a virus, trojan, malware , etc, getting past any firewall and security system. Maybe someone wanting to access school records? Any computer system used in teaching computing as a lesson, should be run entirely separate from the computer system used in the administration of the school and the school records. Also, no-one should be able to connect a flash-drive, run a CD, etc, without close supervision by a teacher (who knows what they are doing!).
