Your Gun being a five number serial starting with 42 dates back to 1911 production date. although this is an old gun what won´t help the value is that 19,300 weremade that same year.But it is still a colectors item and I have seen them go from about $500 to$700 again like any rare old item its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Answer Yes. Many grenades and old ordnance contain black powder charge. Black powder is very explosive and can be detonated by heat or concussion. Remember those snap caps that you throw against the ground. Some civil war shells have been pulled out of water where they have been buried for 100 years and the powder is still explosive.

First, black powder is poured down the barrel, followed by a wad (usually a paper product to hold the gunpowder in place) and then the bullet. The whole assembly is pressed by the ramrod gently. Next, the musket must be primed. If it is a cap and ball musket, the primer is in a cap on the hammer, or hit by the hammer. According to AR 25-2, Section IV, paragraph 4-12 b:

The IAM or designee will manage the password generation, issuance, and control process. If used, generate passwords in accordance with the BBP for Army Password Standards.

BBP for Army password standards are contained in 04-IA-O-0001, paragraph 5A:

(1) All system or system-level passwords and privileged-level accounts (e.g., root, enable, admin, administration accounts, etc.) will be a minimum of 15-character case-sensitive password changed every 60 days (IAW JTF-GNO CTO).

(2) All user-level, user-generated passwords (e.g., email, web, desktop computer, etc.) will change to a 14-character (or greater) case-sensitive password changed every 60 days.

From these two documents it would appear that the 10 character minimum is an outdated recommendation.

From this it would appear that the frequently repeated "8 character minimum" is outdated. Note that the only conditions where an 8 character password is allowed is:

(8) The use of eight character passwords are authorized when:

(I) The password generated is a purely random-generated authenticator from the complete alpha/numeric and special character sets and no user-configured passwords can replace, be generated, or accepted in lieu of the generated password. (For example: Credentialing system issues randomly generated authenticator AND enforce use of that authenticator to network resources.)

Or:

(II) Access to private applications is conducted over an approved 128-bit encrypted session between systems, and the application does not enforce local user access credentialing to a local network resources. (For example: User accesses local LAN connected system through traditional access procedures then accesses a web portal application over an SSL connection; the web portal password may be 8 characters.)

The value of ANY firearm is based on exact make/model, condition, and originality. You did not share any of those with us. An UNMODIFIED Mark 4 No. 1 rifle in very good condition may sell for $250-$350. One in poor condition, or that has been "sporterized" may be worth $50.

in my opinion, the commando is my favourite assault rifle but i don't think its the best though and also the ak47u and the ak47 is also my favourite also i am not talking about call of duty black ops, another gun witch is quit good is the asp hand gun its really sexy but I'm probably wrong... lol

^^^ Do not under any circumstances listen to the guy above me.... He has absolutely no idea what he's talking about... There is no such thing as a "commando"... "Commando" was part of the name for the Car 15, It was an M16A1 with a shortened barrel, gas tube, different feed ramps and a different buffer weight in the stock. "commando" was to signify the short barrel length. You could say back in the day it was the term for "carbine". The "AK74u" also doesn't exist... The proper name is the AKS-74U. The Ak47 had its time, but the 7.62 is a far inferior round to the 5.56 and 5.45. Don't believe this guy, he's definitely got his answer from call of duty... The ASP being a perfect example.. Only a handful were made and it was never issued to any military... Also since this is an assault rifle post I don't know what a handgun is doing here...

The 1918 US trench knife is worth around $300 if it is original, and depending on the condition. Poor condition really brings down the value. Beware though, there are far more replica 1918 knuckle knifes in the world than originals, fake ones have very bright crome blades, and some have the brass handle cast too small. I have a fake in my collection because originals are too expensive. The original sheath is quality made, the repro ones are cheep and flimsy. A repro is worth about 15-25 bucks.
