Bukkit is an API (application program interface) that changes the way plugins interact with the minecraft program. Most server mods will use Bukkit instead of attempting to 'hook on' to the actual minecraft software.

If you want to make one out of redstone and pistons, It will need to be stackable vertically and horizontally so adding in more will not be a problem and will make things much more simple. The smallest pixel (small dot that is controlled independantly) size that can be made to stack is 2x2.

1.) Start by making horizontal rows of blocks stacked on top of each other with a one block gap above each row. Note: the rows need to be an even number of blocks long.

2.) on the long side of each row, put a line of sticky pistons facing out

3.) put sticky pistons facing the same way on top of every sticky piston you just placed. Note, it should look like a wall of sticky pistons.

4.) put your choice of block for the front of the screen on the sticky side of each of the sticky pistons.

5.) now, on the opposite side of the pistons, on the horizontal rows, place redstone repeaters facing the pistons on top of each of the blocks in your horizontal rows.

6.) add a second layer of horizontal rows directly behind the first layer

7.) from left to right, on top of the blocks you just placed, put alternating redstone and repeaters (redstone, than repeater, than redstone, etc...)

8.) add another layer of horizontal rows like in step six

9.) repeat step seven, except put two redstone, than two repeaters

10.) add another row of repeater, nothing, redstone, redstone

11.) add a final layer of redstone, nothing, redstone, nothing

Each of the redstone from step 11 will power an individual pixel in the screen.

If you were looking for a color screen, there isn't a way to do that yet, although I have seen one version where they used redstone to open certain doors and letting you see colored wool inside.

There is no way to make it so you never will. Timing out is caused by a poor connection between you and the server. Here is a list of things that can affect the speed and strenght of your connection;

Your internet speed- Faster speed, better connection.

The servers location- closers the server, better connection.

The servers bandwith- The more bandwith it has, better the connection.

The amount of people on- every peopl on the server uses a chunck of the bandwith.

(ex. 2 people on, each person gets 50% or so. 10 people on each person gets 10% or so) that means you just lost 40% of you connection strenght!

Greifing is a term that is used to display someone connecting to your server through the iP and once connected destroying your world (your buildings,creations etc.), thats why some servers have been modified to only allow specific people to build and remove blocks.

The Looting enchantment in Minecraft is an enchantment that makes any mob drop (both hostile mobs and passive mobs i.e. pigs and skeletons) drop more than they normally do. To get Looting III (the highest Looting), you must enchant a level 30 sword. Don't worry if you don't get it on your first try! It might take a couple tries! You cannot get a cape without going to Minecon as of now. There may be other ways in the future, however as of now, there is no other way. Unfortunately, the other option, which was to do something for Notch, has been disregarded, as Notch kept getting asked about personal capes.
