To make a pickaxe in minecraft you must:

1) get logs

2) make it into wooden planks

3) make a crafting table using the inventory crafting square 1 wooden plank in all four.

4) make sticks out of 2 of the wooden planks in the crafting table by doing this

In the original release version of the Aether and the V 1.01, the planes mod was compatible. However, after updating to V 1.02 my game crashed upon start. I tested if it was any of Risugami's mods, but they were fine. SPC was patched, and I even got Flan's WW2 Guns mod to work. However, when I installed the planes mod, minecraft crashed.
