3) make a crafting table using the inventory crafting square 1 wooden plank in all four.

The material used in the top 3 squares in the crafting table can be other things such as stone and iron.

In the original release version of the Aether and the V 1.01, the planes mod was compatible. However, after updating to V 1.02 my game crashed upon start. I tested if it was any of Risugami's mods, but they were fine. SPC was patched, and I even got Flan's WW2 Guns mod to work. However, when I installed the planes mod, minecraft crashed. If you delete a world through the Delete World button, it completely erases it (no recovery).

I think the only way is to log onto the Minecraft website, go to your profile and follow the steps under 'Change how you look in Minecraft'

If you have any save games, open the folder, and delete everything except the 'saves' folder.

You can easily recover your fresh minecraft.jar by opening the launcher, clicking options and selecting Force Update. This will force the game to update your .jar to the current version, wiping all extra files including mods.

Also, when using mods, be sure to delete the META-INF file inside the .jar file.
