mahatma gandhi was social reformer as well as the leader of india during the war of independence he started many movements such as the chaamparan movement in1916,ahmdabad movement in1918,kheda movement in1918,non cooperation movement ETC.this is much work to be done by u and me so u must understand his feelings

Usually a meeting of the minds of people who are all able to contribute intelligently on a particular subject. For instance, if the Chamber of Commerce held a round table discussion on the subject of sales tax, they would have people from the retail industry, maybe some bankers, local tax folks and perhaps a county or state representative. It doesn't usually get heated (it's not supposed to) and people just kick around ideas.

Gandi had one wife. He married Kasturbai Makhanji in 1883. Gandhi was 13 years old and Kasturbai was 14. Together they had five children, though one died when he was an infant. Kasturbai was known by many as Ba, and she was born on May 11, 1869 and died in February 22, 1944. She and Gandi had been married for 61 years.

Mahatma Gandhi finished high school in 1887 and then went on to study law in England. He attended Rajkot High School.

The love of humanity is one of the things that made Mahatma Gandhi help his people. Mahatma Gandhi also wanted to make a positive mark and help humanity.

he helped them by freeing India so the Indians could become independent and get out of the british rule. he changed the way people thought. he encoraged love and peace that would make a difference in peoples live. he espically helped the Indian lives.

*The remains of a persons body are kept in a place and a dome like or square structure constructed over it.

Gandhi faced many hardships during his time. He was discriminated against, thrown from a train, beaten by a driver, and spent time starving in jail.

In Calcutta (now Kolkata). He went to England to study at his youth. He travelled to his <jeminder areas) to collect tolls and revenue to Shahjadpur, Kuthibari-Silaidoho.Kstia and many other places. He wrote his famous verses Sonar Tori (the golden boat at Kustia)

Gandhi's approach to protest by one thing. The one way he protested was by fasting and going on hungry strike.

He sought peaceful ways to oppose British authorities. Gandhi advocated civil disobedience and passive resistance to British rule. A famous instance involved the sale of salt. The British gave a company a monopoly licence for the sale of salt, and made it illegal for anyone else to supply salt. Of course the monopoly situation resulted in prices rising so high that poor Indians could scarcely afford to purchase any. Gandhi led thousands of Indians on the famous Salt March to make salt at Dandi, in defiance of the ban. In spite of arrests, this campaign was one of his most successful.

He was sick of people A-SALTing him

Gandhi's method of using nonviolence and his theories embraced Hindu tradition. Instead of fighting, he united the Indians by nonviolence acts that were very harmless and brought them together by working towards freedom with each other.
