What are typical Mormon boys names?
Mormons (members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) don't really have any specific naming customs and as there are over 15 million Mormons living all over the globe, names cross many diverse cultural backgrounds. Mormon naming trends have generally followed national and international baby name trends. Many Mormon families like to give their children names that have meaning, while others just choose a name that they think sounds cute. For boys, traditional Biblical names are popular (John, Joseph, Adam, Timothy, Luke, Matthew etc), as well as names from family history (ie the name of a great grandparent, etc). More adventurous Mormon parents might choose a Book of Mormon name (Ammon, Alma, Nephi, Helaman, Jarom, Manti) or the name of a well known Church figure (Orson, Heber, Hyrum, Brigham, Benson, Hinkley, McKay). Especially in the Mormon culture of the western United States and Utah, Mormons have been stereotyped for giving their kids strange made-up names, or unusual spellings of more common names. These names are most often given to girls (McKayzie, Breklynn, Paezlei, etc) but I have seen quite a few "Utah" names given to boys (Kaehler, Axselson, Trevyn, Kael, etc). In recent years, common boys names among Mormons have also been common throughout the US (Mason, Ethan, Jackson, Noah, Liam, Aiden, etc)Here is a funny video full of real Utah Mormon boys names: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXPrtJKPmB0
*The names in this answer are 100% real names of Mormon boys I know in Utah.
No. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) banned the practice of polygamy over 120 years ago in 1890. Anyone who has been found entering into a polygamous marriage since that time has been immediately excommunicated from the Church.
Those polygamists you see on TV shows and the news are what are called "Mormon Fundamentalists". Most of them belong to breakaway sects which split from the Mormon church at the time of the polygamy ban. Both the polygamous groups and the mainstream Mormon church try to separate themselves from each other in the public eye - the polygamists think that the mainstream Mormons are wrong, and the mainstream Mormons think the polygamists are wrong. For the most part, they don't want to be associated with each other.
No. Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan is not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church). Paul Ryan is Catholic.
Where does the name Mormon come from?
Orignally form back east (near new work) they were driven west due to mobs wanting to kill them.
In short, they came from Palmyra, New York.
In the 1800s, a man named Joseph Smith received many revelations which restored the true Christian religion to the earth. True Christianity had been lost in the First Century when the Apostles were killed by the Romans faster than they could find replacements. Many false teachings were accidently introduced into the Church which had lost the authority of the priesthood and the spirit of revelation. The Lord used Joseph Smith to restore both of these things to the earth.
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are often referred to as "Mormons".
The term Mormon comes from the LDS scripture "The Book of Mormon".
As in the bible books are named after the prophet who compiled the book.
In this case the "Book of Mormon" was a compilation of all of the writings of the ancestors and predecessors of the prophet Mormon who by all accounts was the last surviving Nephite on the American continent after his people were hunted to extinction by the lamanites. He hid the writings of his people in the hill cumorah to keep them safe until the day the lord would use the records to restore the true church of christ to the earth after the Apostacy.

Why are all Mormons Caucasian?
Untrue. Not all Mormons are white. There are missionaries from the Mormon church that travel to other countries and teach people the gospel if they are willing to hear it. Many people have been converted, including Blacks and Asians.(there is probably other types of people but i can't think of any more off the top of my head).
Out of the ~ 13 Million Members of the LDS church, more than 52 % are from outside the United States and Europe, this includes nearly every race and color on the planet, though it may seem as though the majority of the "core group" of Mormons are from the US and Caucasian, this is a misnomer, there are active worthy members of the LDS church across the globe, normally those in the press are from the US, the First Presidency and the Quorums of the 12 and 70 have many non-Anglo members that travel the world, missionaries from outside the US tend to serve in their home countries where they are more likely to be culturally accepted then an American.
I'd like to know LDS church in Dubai?
There is one ward and one branch in Dubai. They are part of the Abu Dhabi Stake (the homepage for the stake can be found under "Related Links" below). The United Arab Emirates allows LDS expatriates living in the country temporarily to hold services on the condition that they are low-key (no signs on the building, no advertising, no loud services, etc) and that Islamic laws are respected (no proselyting).
Typically, LDS worship services in the Middle East are held on Friday, since that is the day Muslims worship and therefore do not work. Dubai granted legal status to the Church in 1993, so they don't have to be extremely secretive about their existence, but they must keep a low-profile.
The most recent information I could find is that the Dubai congregations meet in a rented villa in Jumeirah. I was, however, able to find this mailing address and phone number. Hopefully that will help!

Why did the Mormons leave the east and eventually move to Utah?
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) faced extreme persecution and violence in the east and Midwest, so they went further west in search of a place where they could practice their religion in peace.
Baptism for the dead is an ordinance that is performed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and perhaps some other churches. Many believe that baptism for the dead is not a true Christian concept because they believe God himself said in the Bible that the dead will no longer have anything to do with anything under the sun. Others argue that 1 Corinthians 15:29 clearly shows that baptisms were performed for the dead in the first century Christian Church and therefore should be practiced today. Most who practice baptism for the dead do so because they believe that only the baptized may enter heaven, and they want all to have the opportunity to enter heaven, even if they did not have the opportunity to during mortality.
Do Mormons believe in life after death?
Yup. Here's the Plan of Salvation in a nutshell:
We started out in a spirit world with heavenly father, and then when we're born, we pass through the 'veil' that keeps us from remembering our time in the spirit wold w/ heavenly father.
Then we live our merry old lives.
Then, when we pass on, we go to another spirit world. There are two parts-"spirit heaven" and "spirit prison". Good people in the heaven part, bad people in the prison part.
Jesus comes again(the 2nd Coming), and then the spirits are reunited with their bodies(except the bodies are now perfect. Example: you lost your arm in a war, now you have an arm; mentally disabled person is no longer mentally disabled, etc). Then comes judgment day, when heavenly father decides which of the 3 kingdoms you go to. The way he will judge will be fair, and only he knows how to do it.
When you're judged, you go to one of three kingdoms, or somewhere else. The first and best kingdom is the Celestial kingdom, where heavenly father himself lives. The second is the Terrestrial kingdom, and the third is the Telestial kingdom. The 'somewhere else' is called outer darkness.
And then finally, there you stay for the rest of eternity.

How do Mormons' find a husband?
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) find their dating partners and potential spouses in many ways, just like members of other faiths. Some meet after being introduced by mutual friends, some meet at school, work, or other activities, some use online dating websites, and others meet through church or community organizations.
It is probably most common for Mormons to meet at University or through mutual friends. There are many popular dating websites just for Mormons. The Church also sponsors many adult singles activities and, in some areas, entire congregations for single adults to help single Mormons find each other.
Why did the Mormons have conflict with US government?
A combination of things underlay the conflict between the US Government and the Mormons called the Utah War.
Utah was a US territory. The Mormons were creating a theocratic (religious) government. There was conflict between Mormon leaders and a few of the men sent by the US to be administrators in Utah. This conflict was with men who were hostile to Mormonism. In particular the Mormon religious doctrine promoting polygamy (taking multiple wives) was considered by much of the US as gross immorality. Because of strife over slavery at the time, there were rumblings of rebellion in other territories. Some say it was because of this spreading unrest in the territories that then President James Buchanan appointed a governor in the place of Brigham Young and sent troops to Utah. Others say Buchanan was using the general prejudice against Mormons to direct attention away from the the growing strife between North and South and the growing movement for secession in the South and thus unite the States.

What is the oath and covenant of the priesthood?
The Oath and Covenant of the Priesthood is found in Doctrine and Covenants 84:33-42. It is a set of promises between God and those men who receive the Melchizedek Priesthood in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
As part of the Oath and Covenant, those who receive the Melchizedek Priesthood are obligated to serve God and the Church and to use their priesthood to bless others. Those who obey the Oath and Covenant will receive the strength they need to perform their labor for God and will be welcomed into the Celestial Kingdom to become Priests and Kings and Sons of God. Those who break the covenant will have no forgiveness of sins in this world or in the world to come.
Are there secret societies or passwords to enter the Mormon church?
No. To enter a Mormon church (officially called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) you can simply walk in. Worship services, classes, and activities are always open to the public. If you would like to become a member of the church, you must attend a set of introductory lessons with missionaries and be baptized. Prior to baptism you must meet some worthiness goals such as quitting smoking and drinking. All lessons and baptisms are open to the public as well - nothing secret, no passwords. Everything that you need to know prior to baptism is found at discover.mormon.org or Mormon.org, anything else you might want to know can be answered by asking local missionaries or church leaders or by using the live chat feature at either of the websites.
In order to enter a dedicated Mormon Temple (these are considered more holy and sacred than Mormon churches) you must present a Temple Recommend card signed by your Bishop at the front desk. There is no secret password to get the card, you just need to demonstrate faithfulness and righteous living.

Is Haley Rey a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?
It is her husband, Dr. Robert Rey, who was brought to the United States by Mormon missionaries. However, there is no indication that he or Hayley Rey are Mormon.
Just received FB message from a friend that she was out today (10/15/2012) on the Vote-for-Mitt-Romney-trail, knocking on doors in Las Vegas with Dr Rey. She posted that Dr Rey is LDS (Mormon) - and that, presumably, is from the 'horse's mouth'.
