K2 Incense, or "spice", has become extremely popular as a form of legal, synthetic marijuana. What does this product consist of, and is it safe?
According to the official K2 site, K2 is a natural incense composed of natural herbs such as "canavalia rosea, clematis nuciferia, heima salicfolia, and ledum palustre." Various sources report that K2 also contains the synthetic cannabanoid JWH-018, which when smoked can produce intoxicative effects similar to marijuana. As a synthetic, it does not register on current drug detection tests. The K2 site expressly states that K2 is "not intended for human consumption" and is intended only to be used as an incense. Clearly though, the hundreds of cases across the county to poison control centers and emergency rooms indicates it is not being used as such.

My son Calum Morris Macintyre, aged 16 has reached the summit of Ama Dablam today Sunday 25 Oct 2009 as part of the Team Ascent expedition led by Sandy Allan. I'm keen to know about other young people who have climbed this Himalayan peak and to find out if Calum has set a record. He is doing this to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust as his sister (now 14) was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago.

What is a rock climbing cord used for?
Usually referred to as a rope.
Your rope is tied to a harness that goes around your waist and thighs. It is then looped through some kind of protection on the wall, (a bolt or gear or anchor chains, depending on the type of climbing you're doing) and finally the other end is looped through the harness of your buddy who is your "belayer".
His job is to act as a weight in case you fall. With this weight on both ends the rope both stops and cushions your fall. This way, you can climb up sheer rock faces and not worry so much about plummeting to your death or dismemberment.

Mice only climb walls if there is something to grip onto. They can't climb on walls in a house, unless the paint has some sort of grip to it. They can't climb glass, either. But when I got a mouse, there was a thin-grated air vent in the cage, and she hung onto that. =3

Are you more likely to die on Mount Everest or of Organ Failure?
At best there have been a few dozen people die on Everest, where as there are thousands who will die of organ failure around the world.
If you mean to ask are you more likely to die on Everest due to either trauma/exposure to elements or from organ failure (perhaps due to organ failure) then the answer is exposure.
Most climbers will die when they get lost in the cold and dark. Others will die falling into crevaces (although that is more rare) and some will experience the effects of high altitudes (low oxygen) and do stupid things like step off of the mountain.
