If you don't see it, right click up on the icon toolbar, click Customize, then find the history icon in the customize dialog and drag it to your toolbar.

When you bookmark or favorite a website it stores it in your browser for quick access in the future. All of the browsers support this although they may call it something different and have different ways to access your favorite or bookmarked sites.

To add the Google search bar to Firefox, click on the search bar on the top right of the browser. Then, click on the magnifying glass icon or the drop-down menu next to it, and select "Add search engine." You can then choose Google from the list of available search engines. If Google is not listed, you can visit the Google homepage, and Firefox will prompt you to add it as a search option.

To use the User Agent Switcher in Firefox, first, you need to install the User-Agent Switcher and Manager extension from the Firefox Add-ons site. Once installed, click the extension icon in the toolbar to open the menu, where you can select a predefined user agent or add a custom one. After selecting a user agent, refresh the page to see how the website responds to the chosen user agent string. This allows you to test how sites display or function across different browsers and devices.

They should be closed "up" for two reasons.

1.) If they're on a South wall, they will deflect the suns rays upwards towards the ceiling instead of directing the heat towards the floor. It will help to keep your home cooler, and help to prevent your floor/carpet from fading.

(Check this on a sunny day and you will see a difference)

2.) Security. You can't see peoples feet etc. if the blinds are closed in the up position. (Check this for yourself)
