I went to tools- internet options- advanced- browsing section- unclick 'enable third party browser extensions' and in the accessibility section click 'enable caret browsing for new windows and tabs. This worked for me!

after yo browse click arrow pointing down on google, bing, search bar, etc. on google find clear history and click it on the search bar go to the end of what u searched and there should be an x click it and its erased! hope this helped :)

It takes some time to setup, but functionality is good so far. You can also set up a keyboard shortcut, which I found useful, or you can add a button to your browser and simply click it when you need a form filled.

Maybe your navigation toolbar is off try it. Go to View. Then toolbar then find the Navigation tools bar button

Yes it is, I use firefox with my windows 7 pro laptop and find firefox 8 very very good. I would use it rather then IE any day. Chrome doesnt have as many addons and I sometimes have problems with loading pages. To make firefox faster download the addon firefox preloader. It'll tell you where to go from there. For security download the addons better privacy,bit defender traffic light,ghostery and noscript. Dont use internet explorer or safari. Those are the worst browsers. I am currently looking for a browser like firefox but faster. Firefox's speed is good. If you want it to be faster when opening it then,firefox preloader is the solution. Also you should use personas to customise the look. Firefox is the most customizable browser out there. I'ts also one of the best browsers out there.

Firefox could be down at the time. You can try exiting off the page and opening it back up.

Click on the 'Tools' menu, then on 'Clear Private Data'. On the resulting window, ensure 'Browsing History' is checked, then click 'Clear Private Data Now'. Restart Firefox, and you're good to go!
