You would have to stop using the application that is creating them. SQLite is a database used by various applications to store information. The application would likely recreate the database every time it had new information to store.

If it is an issue with some particular site then the page in context might be taking some time to load or process the server side queries due to slow internet connection. If it happens all the time irrespective of the site then there may be some thing wrong with the browser settings. Check the options in Tools - Content.
