Depends upon the time of year. In the winter, Nevada is on Pacific Standard Time {PST} and Arizona in on Mountain Standard Time {MST}, so the difference in time is one hour. Example: 9 AM in Nevada = 10 AM in Arizona. In the spring Nevada switches to Pacific Daylight Time {PDT} but Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time, so for the summer there would be no time difference between the two states. In the autumn, Nevada switches back from PDT to PST and again there is that one hour time difference.

Nevada, being one of USA's most populous states, is know for the city Las Vegas mostly. Las Vegas is a very big city in Nevada with over 3 million people living there. Their state abbreviation is NV. They have a few nicknames, one being Silver State. Mainly, because it's state colors are silver and blue. Nevada is known for it's mountains and few glaciers. The capital of Nevada is Carson City which is ,surprisingly, the least populated city in Nevada. With 56, 062 people, Carson City is not very popular.
