Yes some people like to stay at home but there are more people who do like to go out on new years eve and have some drinks and see in the year its mostly older people who do that like 18+ so they can find some one to kiss at midnight but dome like to stay with there family and drink at home whilest watchin tv or at midnight the countdown so u can have a party at your house aswell.

You can rent a movie, play games, play tag or hide-and-go-seek, listen to music (dance), play video games, get on the computer, make popcorn and try to have a contest on who can catch the most pieces in their mouths, and OBVIOUSLY stay up until 12 o'clock.

No, Fiji celebrate New Years first. The 180meridean cuts Fiji into two making it yesterday and today.
