You can not trade between a GBa game and a DS game. IF you want to give some of your PokeMon from a GBA game you have to beat the Elite Four. Then, restart the ds, with the GBA and DS game in the designated slots. Then, play the PokeMon DS game, on the screen where you pick if you want a new game, or to play the existing file. There should be a option Migrate. Click that. Then you will have to do more stuff. Search how to Migrate for more help.

You can use the wireless adapter from leaf-green/fire-red, if that doesn't count as an adapter. You may also be able to use the DS wireless, with 2 DS's. Lastly, you can trade with in-game traders, inside houses, but they are very specific.

First of it's surf not swim.Anyway you have to go through the safari zone. Just go across evrey zone and at the end there is a house and a guy inside will give it to you and you need that towns badge to use it.

you can play through the full game once and migrate the Pokemon you caught then start over with a different starter Pokemon and then migrate it you don't have to play through the game again but you can if you want another legendary and then repeat so you can have them all

there are other ways but you would need an action replay or perform a glitch which i would not recomend because glitches can make you start the game all over again and action replays are expensive

No but you can migrate.To migrate you need a DS lite.First turn of your ds and insert any Pokemon gba game pak (ex.Emerald,Ruby,etc.)then turn your ds on again and play your Pokemon ds game.When you see the menu where it says keep playing your file or receive mystery gift etc.It'll say migrate from (example Emerald,Sapphire,etc.)choose it and then you can choose which Pokemon you wanna migrate.WARNING,you can only migrate 6 Pokemon a day per cart and when you migrate,you can't take them back to your gba game.
