My family and I travel to Norway about every two years, and including travel to and from the airports, security, delays and layovers (because we always get the cheap seats), the total time it takes varies from about 19 to 23 hours give or take. It could be shorter if you took more direct flights.

Denmark does NOT have any nuclear weapons of its own, but such weapons have been kept at a US-base on Greenland, which is a part of the Kingdom of Denmark. The funny thing is that the Danish Prime minister in 1957 in secrecy was asked by the Ambassador whether the Danish government wanted to be informed in case USA would decide to place nuclear warheads on Greenland, to which the former declined - apparently only consulting a few close advisers. In this way the Danish government have been able to deny for decades that there were any nuclear weapons on Danish territory - even-though everybody suspected that it was not true. The purpose of this charade was not to provoke the Soviets by officially 'inviting' the weapons, but the problem was that the Danish parliament (and people) was also kept in the dark - which obviously is unconstitutional.

You start school when you're six. You go to elementary school for seven years and leave when you 13. Next you go to teenage school which is like junior high. That's 8th, 9th and 10th grade and then you are done and can choose to not go to school anymore or go to high school for three more years. A troll is the norwegian word for an ogre, but can not really be compared to anything. It is a beast often living in the woods, scary but it can have nice sides as well. Trolls are most often mentioned in norwegian tales or fairytales. They are big and stupid, easy manipulated. They are filthy and some of them have trees growing on their head. All of them have long hair. One do not believe that trolls exist, but rumor has it that they used to, but when they got hit by the sun, they turned into big rocks. That is the explanation why large rock can be found on weird places (they used to be a troll).

The most famous troll in Norway can be found in Hunderfossen Familepark in Lillehammer (yes, that is the olympic city) three houres away from the capital Oslo.
