It seems to be pretty quiet since the arrest of the Green River Killer, Gary Leon Ridgeway. There is always the possiblity that bodies have not been found, several murders have yet to be connected, ect.

They dont always commit suicide, and usually it is just for fun...Serial killers have a compelling urge. They are sick. Alot of it is motivated by sexual gratification-even if there aren't any actual sexual assaults. they get off on the thrill.

A spree killer, also known as a rampage killer, is someone who embarks on a murderous assault on his or her victims (two or more) in a short time in multiple locations. The U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics defines a spree killing as "killings at two or more locations with almost no time break between murders." According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) the general definition of spree murder is two or more murders committed by an offender or offenders, without a cooling-off period; the lack of a cooling-off period marking the difference between a spree murder and a serial murder. The category has however been found to be of no real value to law enforcement, because of definitional problems relating to the concept of a "cooling-off period". Serial killers are different in that the murders are clearly separate events, happening at different times, while the attacks of mass murderers are defined by one incident, with no distinctive time period between the murders

My father, Richard Tingler died march 18, 1995 in a Columbus Ohio hospital as a result of multiple organ failure.

One important note is, he was a human being who has loving family & friends who will always cherish who he was and is to this day. Yes, there are several serial killers who have children. Keith Jesperson to name one, (more commonly known as "the happy face killer"). In fact one of his daughters was recently on Oprah talking about her father and the book she wrote about him, "Shattered Silence: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer's Daughter" By Melissa G. Moore and M. Bridget Cook.

John Wayne Gacy had a son and daughter.

Gary Ridgeway, the "Green River Killer" has a son.

Dennis Rader, aka "BTK" has a son and a daughter.

Herb Baumeister lived with his wife and three children on an estate called "Fox Hollow Farm" outside of Indianapolis. He was never apprehended because he committed suicide when he felt that he would soon be apprehended. After his death, authorities identified the remains of at least 11 bodies on the estate. Baumeister is suspected of the murder of seven other men whose bodies had been found along Interstate 70.

Europe in second, has 17%. England has produced 28% of the European total; Germany produces 27%, and France produces 13%.

California leads in the US with the most Serial Homicide cases that have occured. Texas, New York, Illinois, and Florida follow shortly behind.

There is at present a suspected serial killer in Florida and possibly Georgia. Details are scetchy due to the need for confidentiality in an open, ongoing investigation. Florida has never been in short supply of serial killers. Some of the most notorious and well-known killers have lived, been apprehended, and on many occations, executed in the 'Sunshine State'. Ted Bundy, Gerald John Scheafer, Danny Rollin, Aileen Wuornos, Henry Lee Lucas and Ottis Toole are just a few.

///This is one of the most misunderstood facts about serial killers. Most suffer from not mental illness but have a personality disorder. They are not ill, it's their personality. It can't be changed, no treatment or drug will change this behaviour. Successful serial killers (ones that don't get caught) are intelligent, in control, and plan their crimes in detail. Serial killers can be sociopaths. Sociopaths are people who have problems with their conscience. Sociopaths may lack a conscience entirely, have holes in it, or are somehow able to neutralize any sense of conscience or future perspective.

Also, serial killers have been known for being schizophrenics. Paranoid schizophrenia is a type of schizophrenia in which there are prominent delusions or auditory hallucinations with relatively preserved cognition and affect.

Jodi Arias is in the Maricopa County jail in Arizona, awaiting a new sentencing trial which is scheduled to begin in September, 2014. Arias was convicted of premeditated murder on 8 May, 2013 in the 2008 murder of her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander. The jury deadlocked on whether Arias should receive life in prison or death by lethal injection.

Under Arizona law, if there is a mistrial in the sentencing phase of a murder trial, an entirely new jury is selected. They will then hear a "mini" version of the original trial, after which they will again deliberate life or death. If this second jury cannot reach a verdict, Judge Sherry Stephens will sentence Arias either to life in prison without parole, or life with the possibility of parole after 25 years. Numerous motions filed on both sides of the case have forced numerous delays in the start date of the new sentencing phase.

Ted Bundy of Washington state killed 30 (probably more) young college women. From about 1974 to 1978 Bundy killed women in at least 5 different states. Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado and Florida. Some think Idaho was one of Bundy's hunting ground.

Before his execution Bundy's tongue loosened slightly and he confessed to more murders and actually denied at least 1. He was hoping to stall for some time, his execution was looming. But Florida figured he had plenty of time to tell his secrets in the dozen years he sat on Florida's death row. His execution was carried out as planned on January 27,1989.

Note of interest:While on death row Bundy was allowed to get married and got conjugal visits. His daughter was born before his execution, although I'm not sure if or how often he was able to see her.

The Hillside Stranglers were cousins Angelo Bono and Kenneth Bianci. In the mid to late 1970's these cousins abducted, raped, tortured and finally killed young women, many whom they grabbed off the streets of Los Angeles, later to dump their bodies off roadsides in rural areas around Los Angeles. When things were getting a little too hot around LA, Bono (whom was older) gave the orders that the killing had to stop, at least temporarily, and ordered Bianci to leave town and lay low. He did leave town but laying low was the last thing on Bianci's mind. He moved to Washington state and with weeks he murdered 2 young women and left a trail of clues right to his door. That was the begining of the end for the Stranglers. Bianci ratted Bono out to save him from a death sentence.

No one knows. No one is ever likely know.

At best, being unable to interview Adam Lanza, no one can do anything other than to speculate. And, speculation has gone wild.

Between 1962 and 1964, thirteen women were raped and murdered in the Boston area. While he confessed to the crimes, there is no physical evidence that DeSalvo committed them. It is thus unclear how many of the "Boston Strangler" victims were DeSalvo's, if any. Evidence in some of the cases points to other suspects. DeSalvo was stabbed to death in his prison cell in 1973, the culprit never caught.

They might kidnap females a lot and may rape,sodomize,insist,molest,strip,fondle, and or grope females a lot more if they are killers they may also do this to males as well.

Attempted crimes and crimes should be taken seriously to help a serial killer are assault,arson,burglary,corruption such as bribing Police to stop making arrests,fraud such as scams like hacking computers,larceny such as stealing,sex crimes,theft and vandalism.

5. As children, they are abandoned by their fathers and raised by domineering mothers.

6. Their families often have criminal, psychiatric and alcoholic histories.

7. They hate their fathers and mothers.

8. They are commonly abused as children - psychologically, physically and sexually. Often the abuse is by a family member.

9. Many serial killers spend time in institutions as children and have records of early psychiatric problems.

10. They have high rates of suicide attempts.

11. From an early age, many are intensely interested in voyeurism, fetishism, and sado-masochistic pornography.

12. More than 60 percent of serial killers wet their beds beyond the age of 12.

13. Many serial killers are fascinated with fire starting.

14. They are involved with sadistic activity or tormenting small creatures.

15. The collection of weird objects. Ex: Pepper shakers, but no salt.

The weapon of choice for the killer known as The Boston Strangler was usually a piece of the victim's own clothing. Stockings, belts from their dressing gowns, ect. DeSalvo claimed to have strangled at least one woman with his bare hands.

She has been released from custody for the incident involving Merlin Santana. She has 2 misdemeanor arrest that I found one in Long Beach CA on 2/29/12 sentenced to 20 days released on 3/3/12 a 2nd arrest on 3/10/12 in Hollywood CA released with a future court date for 4/6/12 she just turned 25 on 2/11/12 and based on her conviction she was sentenced to California youth authority to the age of 25 so from the looks of things she is off to another bad start and she is back on the streets after 10 years probably a thousand times worse.

The only serial killer I could find for Missouri is Robert Berdella who in 1988 killed 6 men in Kansas City, MO. An important point to keep in mind is prior to WWII little was known about this kind of killer. It is very possible that Berdella was not the first serial killer in Missouri, but just the first that was held accountable for his crimes. Many times bodies are found but may not be associated with other crimes in the area. Today's crime fighters have the advantage of information at their fingertips with computers that link not just within a single country but with INTERPOL that connects on a world-wide level.

Although most people believe that most serial killers are highly intelligent it can really go either way. I have listed some of the more well known killers and their IQs. These numbers are not set in stone. IQs can go up or down but a single score can give you a pretty good idea of the intelligence of the individual.

well ill tell u why. its mostly because they have a mental meltdown usually guys who are early 40's to early 50's and they all go through mid-life crisis. which is where they realize they are not getting any younger and feel theres something missing and they don't have anything exciting to do and on top of that thy either are treated poorly by wife and kids or divorce in which case they find something new and exciting to do which is usually murder and rape. and once they start they want to do it more and get a little more creative and that's when they just cant stop and become known as serial killers. as to why they are usually caucasian is because of heritage. most of European settlers started to notice abnormalities in there children mentally and the children developed what known as chemical inbalances of the brain. from there they started getting passed down through generations of European of sprinng and a lot of those europeans settled right here in the u.s. that being why most of those serial killers are caucasian

There is but one way Peterson will be leaving San Quentin, in a pine box. If he somehow escapes his death sentence he will never be paroled.
