Isabel Maddison was born in Cumberland, England. Her mother and father were Mary Anderson and John Maddison. After school Maddison attended the University of South Wales in Monmouthshire in 1885. Thein in 1889 to 1892 she went to the Cambridge University. While she was at Cambridge University she successfully completed the Cambridge Tripos test in math, but she was not allowed to receive a degree from Cambridge. She was still awarded a B.S degree with honors in London.
After she was awarded the degree she came to the United States for graduate work at Bryn Mawr College and received a PHD. then in 1893 she went back to London to take an external examination at the Univeristy of London, and receive the Residential Mathematical Fellowship, which helped her fund her studies until 1894. She was also awarded the Mary E Garrett European Fellowship which allowed her to spend until 1895 at Gottingen, Germany. In 1895 she returned to Bryn Mawr college to take up a position of assistant principal at Carey Thomas. Once again she received a B.A from the Trinity College in Dublin Ireland based off her work in Cambridge. Maddison remained at Bryn Mawr until she retired in 1926. Then on October 22, 1950 she died.

Winfrey didn't mention any other celebrity.

it would depend on what you mean by over? i would hope that those people have stopped doing that to you... so in that sense i hope its "over". but if you mean you "getting over it" then im sorry but you most likely never truly will... an the time line isn't up to anyone else to set. the most likely cause of people telling you its over is because they don't want to deal with the guilt of either knowledge, or lack of action. so if you bring it up with them it makes them relive that guilt. it may also just be uncomfortable for them an they don't care enough to just shut up an listen to how you feel.
