If you want the pantera tone i would get a mxr 10 band eq with the boss noise suppressor and the dimebag distortion box on the box put treb at about 8 or 9 put bass at 8 and put mids at 3 run it through a clean channel on your amp and that should get you pretty close
Yes Phil Anselmo is still alive. He is living in Louisiana and Running his record label. He was just on That Metal show in late 2010
It hasn't been confirmed all of the band members' religion in Pantera. However, it is rumored that their guitar player is a Christian.
Vulgar Display of Power, a Double Platinum record by Pantera, was released on February 25, 1992.
The singer Phil Anselmo is most known for being the lead singer of the band, Pantera. Phil Anselmo was born June 30, 1968 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
first of all, have you ever seen either of these two singers? Phil is definitely a lot bigger then Chris Barnes. That definitely did not happen.
Good! I'm glad there's no truth to that. first of all i have massive amounts of respect for PHIL and don't believe he would get hurt by a guy like chris. just because you sing tough don't make you tough. Second Chris Barnes backed off from a fight with SETH PUTNAM from ANAL C*NT. he was tough at first then when Seth stepped up he walked away. what a b*tch. Even Glen Benton from DEICIDE backed off from PHIL ANSELMO. and i can quote Glen saying "I FEAR NO ONE". Well i guess you're wrong Glen, you fear PHIL. If i comprised a list of the toughest bastards in rock PHIL would be at #1.
EVIL MIKE from F-61
His best friend who has suffered some kind of tragic accident or brain injury and is now in a coma or vegetative state.
I know that there is vinny paul on drums and dime bag darell in lead guitar but i can't think of any more.
Yes, Pantera did a "cover version" of this song on their 1984 CD "Projects In The Jungle". It was the 9th track on that disc, which had 10 tracks total on it. The CD was re-released in 1992 on the "Reborn Classics" label, their catalog number RC1010. It is sometimes available for sale "used" on Amazon.com
Sorry but all of the members were born in yorkshire/england
They use quarter step down from E standard, but you can keep it normal, it's not a big difference.
Because he's Vinnie Paul, and he can turn his drumsticks on fire when he wants to.
Pantera is the Latin name for the genus pantera - the panthers - which includes lions, tigers, leopards and jaguars.
"if its a 2 stroke yes
if its a 4 stroke no "
This is not competely accurate. Some of Yamaha's 2 stroke bikes have a separate reservoir under the seat for the 2 stroke oil and the bike then mixes the gas and oil and the correct proportions while riding so that the user doesn't have to deal with measuring and mixing. These bikes have a sight glass on the left side of the bike in the plastic cover/shield through which to observe the oil level. This is a *separate* oil system from the normal engine lubricant oil which has the plug on the engine case on the bottom right side of the engine. Simply fill the reservoir under the seat with 2 stroke oil, the gas tank with gas, and off you go. Not having had one of these bikes, I strongly suspect that you can put enough two stroke oil in the seat reservoir to cover multiple tanks of gas, as the seat has to be unbolted and taken off each and every time you have to fill it.
Even though those are quite rare, they were only pressed in 1993 in Italy, and it was a bootleg release, there are some still out there at not-too-extravagant prices. Try Discogs or Global Exchange Music Marketplace (GEMM). Especially now that the wave of fly-by-night Pantera fans has long since died down in the decade + since Darrel's murder, don't holding your breath waiting for a reissue.
Vinne paul(Drummer).
Dimebag Darrell(Guitarist)
Rex Brown( Bassist).
Decided to put the band in a heavier direction and let the former singer go and brought Phil into the band , he had the image and vocals that they were looking for.
