Because centuries ago, people in China and Japan use to carry them around in their sleeves for protection.
No, but I have a question to you... did your pekingese killed it's puppies. That is just scary.
That would be an odd cross in my opinion, but I strongly discourage it. There are too many cross breeds and "muts" in the world today. If there is nothing more to be gained by crossing breeds than satisfying your curiosity, you are doing all of the animals involved an injustice. The odds of the American Kennel Club adopting that cross as a new breed would be slim, and there for many people would see it as undesirably created and have no demand. Basically opening the door for more homeless animals. Now if you crossed a pit and a catahoula cur, you would have a very good "hog dog", used for catching hogs in the wild and hunting. There would be a great demand for that cross in the south where that type of hunting is still common. Also, before breeding any dog, know the blood line of each of the animals. Do not ever breed a dog with a genetic history of complications. It's unfair for all of the future off spring and to the people who will have to pay a lot of money to care for a dog with problems.

Dogs are not suppose to drink milk because it gives them worms.
Dogs CAN drink milk if they are infant and just born.
It depends. Due to their adorable brachycephalic faces, they may suffer breathing problems, and due to their thick coats, they will overheat. Really, they don't usually die because of their noses. Just don't over-exert your peke in hot weather.
I have a female Yorkie (maternal) and pekineses (fraternal) and the only time she looses hair is when I brush her... I don't have a problem with her shedding... So I think its hard to say yes or no it depends on the genetics I think...
I have a pekingese/cairn terrier mix who is 11 and he's the cutest dog you've ever seen! People tell me he looks just like a Benji. His face looks like a terrier. He weighs about 22 pounds, has longer hair that must be groomed, is blond with dark tips on his ears, and has long silky ears and tail. I think he's adorable. :)
Yes and no. All peks are different. My pek eats a lot. It ated a whole box of pizza's
