Filipino aspiring actresses, musicians, and among other things cannot go up the ladder if they "look" Filipino no matter how good or talented they are. Media prefer someone who have light skin and foreign. Filipinos think being Filipino is the best thing in the world. They think that they are very smart just from the fact that they can speak English. Filipinos think by speaking English it makes them smarter than everyone else.Little do they know is that China and Japan don't speak English yet their country is a lot more successful than ours. You don't see Filipinos winning Spelling bee etc. A lot of Filipinos never set foot on University or some kind of college program. You can tell they are uneducated for they still don't grasped the idea of racism and civil rights even to stand up against their government and the system. A lot of people are jobless. They watched variety shows and drama on TV ALL DAY! This shows dumbed down the masses, if they are smart enough they will pressure their government for improvement of the country but nope they rather watch TV all day.

Another thing about Filipinos is that they hate their own kind. They like to make fun of other Filipinos. They like to put down other Filipinos. They like to gossip even people they don't know. Filipinos, no matter how poor they are even if they only finish high school will try so hard to look rich,posh and classy. They always try so hard to pretend they are above social strata. This is why they love name brands and if they acquire one the arrogance will be oozing out of their ears. Filipino who goes to clubs and such like to show off their expensive items and laugh at other people especially to other Filipino who doesn't have one. They worry too much what other people think of them and its common for other Filipino to laugh at or make fun of other Filipino for looking and dressing like Filipino. Another issues of Filipinos are the ones who are American born and immigrants. Fil-Ams think they are better Filipino for they speak English and they will NEVER associate themselves to someone who is immigrant or FOB. Filipino idolized America. They love everything America. Some may even claim that Philippines should give itself to America. They want Philippines to be America. If you are a white person and you came up to a group of Filipinos they will welcome you like you are god himself yet for someone who look Filipino and dress casually, they will get a snub and hatred.

Filipinos are money hungry. They will do anything to have money. This is why there are widespread corruption among politicians and police officers. Filipino loves money, sometimes you'll see a 50 year old caucasian with an 18 year old girlfriend and mail order bride. Filipinos don't believe in sheer determination and hardwork to succeed. They are very religious and they'll just wait for a miracle. They somehow believe that god would intervene to give them cash.
