From 1200 BC to 539 BC, the ancient Semitic civilization of Phoenicia was situated on the western, coastal part of the Fertile Crescent in what is now Lebanon and Tartus Governorate, Syria. They are known for almost all modern day alphabets being derived from their alphabet.

What did the Phoenician believe?
They where Polytheistic and believed in multiple gods but the thing that was really amazing was that they did not trust there gods but instead feared them, they also believed that since life was so crappy for them that it would be the same in the afterlife, they also believed that there was a god for everything EX. river god, sun god ect. but in general they where kinda like the Greeks.
