What is RGB mode used for in photoshop?
RGB is color model and is used to describe colors using numbers and to determine number of possible colors. You can change color model from Image > Mode > choose color model. RGB is suitable for screen and different devices including internet. Other color modes are CMYK suitable for professional printing, Lab, Grayscale.
Although RGB is mainly for devices and screens it is recommended to work in this color mode before converting to CMYK.
Different color spaces within color mode can contain different range and number of possible colors in document (image). RGB color mode have different spaces like sRGB which can contain less colors then Adobe RGB but is supported by most browsers while browsers do not support Adobe RGB color profile, so when you want to post images on internet or send them on email first convert to sRGB profile (space) from File > Save for Web & Devices (turn on Convert to sRGB) or Edit > Convert to Profile > RGB > sRGB IEC61966-2.1.

How do you put two pics in one Photoshop?
I'm assuming you mean like photo-manipulation. Photo-manipulation is pretty much the same thing as putting two different pictures into one whole one. If you mean putting them side by side then what you need to do is open them both in photoshop and measure them both out and then open a new document with both the sizes included. example(1): Open a 100x100 pixel-inch image and a 420X360 pixel-inch. If you want the two to be exactly identical then you will need to use the crop tool on the larger image to scale it down. Select what you want with the crop tool and then scale it down by hitting the ENTER key. (it's actually one of my favorite tools) then when you have it down to a decent size (or if you decided not to scale down) open your new file with the size of the two added in. 420x460 (since the height really won't matter in this case. Just go with the larger height. Width is what you want to worry about). then what you do is cut and paste the two items into your new picture. As for photo-manipulation, I'm not an expert on that. But I do know someone who is. go to http://night-fate.deviantart.com She is a good friend of mine and has many tutorials on photo-manipulation. (She's a professional.) I hope you found what you're looking for. I would go with the web address though. It's highly recommended.

What is the difference between Photoshop for Mac and Photoshop for PC?
Yes. Photoshop can save a number of formats that can be used on almost any platform.Tiff, JPG, gif, PDF are all platform independent and can be used on almost anything
Photoshops native .psd format can be opened by Photoshop on Mac or PCOf course, if you are using version CS3 on a Mac and version 6 on hte PC, you will have problems opening the newer version file on the older version software. But that is just the nature of software versioning and has nothing to do with platform.
You do have to purchase a different version of photoshop for whatever platform you are using. 1 Copy will not work on both. (Just in case that was the real reason for the question)
In More Simple TermsThere are separate versions of the software, but it works on both platforms, and the files are compatible. How long does it take to learn photoshop?

What is the difference between Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop?
CorelDRAW is a vector drawing illustration application, while Photoshop is a raster (or bitmap) image editing and painting application.
Vector drawing uses mathematical equations (inside the program, the user doesn't have to worry about the math) to define the lines, curves, angles, etc. of a line drawing or collage style image. Raster or Bitmap images define the color properties of each individual pixel of an image, for pictures more like paintings or photographs.
Vector drawings can be less "realistic" looking and more illustrative. Vector drawing is ideal for line drawings, logos, diagrams, plans, charts, maps, and so on. Due to their mathematical properties, vector drawings also scale without loss or distortion, while bitmap images become distorted (pixelated, jaggy) if they are enlarged or reduced (much).
