What is the Eucharisting Parayer?
The Eucharist prayer normally refers to the Canon of the Mass. This is the prayer said by the priest at the altar in which he adores God, implores his help for all of humanity, asks the saints for their intercession, invokes the Holy Spirit, and consecrates - changes - the bread and wine into the Body and Blood or Our Blessed Lord. After the consecration, the "accidents" remain - i.e. the appearance of bread and wine; but the "substance" has changed so that where before there was bread and wine, now all that remains is the Body and Blood of Our Blessed Lord.
According to Islam, the third prophet sent from Allah was Prophet Nuh (Noah)
Who wrote about Elijah the prophet?
"Halley's Bible Handbook" [with the King James Version] informs us that Elijah was one of the last of the "Oral" prophets; an "order of prophets": "...with schools..." [some refer to them as the "school of prophets, college of prophets, prophet college, etc.]
"...The priesthood had become quite degenerate, and contemporaneous with the organization of the Kingdom. Samuel, it seems, initiated these schools as a sort of moral check on both priests and kings.
"These Prophets functioned through a period of some 300 years before the time of the Prophets who wrote the closing 17 books of the Old Testament. They are called "Oral" Prophets, to distinguish them from the "Literary" Prophets who wrote the books.
"The leading "Oral" Prophets were: Samuel, organizer of the Kingdom; Nathan, adviser to David; Ahijah, adviser to Jeroboam; Elijah and Elisha, who led in the grand fight against Baalim."
(Halley's Bible Handbook: Classic Ed. - Prophets p.179)
So, while Elijah and others of the "schools of the prophets" during this period aren't credited with literary contributions to the Bible... they are written about throughout by the inspired "Literary" prophets who recounted their steps.
Yet, it was these "chroniclers" of the Old Testament who tell of "one writing of Elijah;" a letter, that appeared some 10 years AFTER a "whirlwind" whisked him away into the sky, never to be seen again. It was addressed to the son of one of the kings who was in Elijah's charge before he disappeared. The royal father and son had ruled "jointly" during Elijah's charge... and when the son [10 years later] ruled alone... quite errantly... after his father's death -- he received the "absentee" Elijah's shocking letter of rebuke and Judgment.
"...there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the Lord God of David thy father, Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah, but hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy father's house, which were better than thyself: Behold, with a great plague will the Lord smite thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy goods: and thou shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day." (II Chronicles 21:12-15)
Did Jesus mention another prophet after him?
No prophets can come after Jesus as all the prophecies will now have to be fulfilled
, and no new ones can be added in the bible.
How many years did Daniel the prophet live?
It is believed that he died in Babylon.
Daniel was probably a teenager at the time of being brought to Babylon in 617 B.C.E., so he would be almost 100 years old when he received the vision recorded in Daniel 10-12. Speaking to Daniel in Babylon, the angel said: "As for you yourself, go toward the end; and you will rest, but you will stand up for your lot at the end of the days," which seems to indicate that his life was nearing its end at that time, though he could be sure of a resurrection.(Daniel 12:13)
No one can know - he was the first man on earth and therefore his children would've buried him. But it would've been near impossible to keep this record!
Actually, his children did bury him & they did keep the record; he is buried in the lowest chamber of Me'erat HaMachpela in Hebron, Israel. The chamber is past where Abraham & Sarah, Isaac & Rebecca, and Jacob are buried & is held to be the entrance to the Garden of Eden (in the past 2,000 years or so, there hasn't been anyone that has made it down there & come back alive. Even before that, it was rare that a person came back out alive or even normal.)
Also, some say that since he was buried before the flood, the terrain has changed & we no longer know the places. This is not exactly true. The land of Israel did not move in the flood & Abraham, as well as Moses, Miriam, King David, etc were all prophets & they were able to locate & mark the places of certain events that happened before the flood (for instance, the place where the dust of Adam was gathered from; remember Adam was made outside of the Garden of Eden & then brought into the garden). From then on, these spots have been marked one way or another (for instance, on the spot where Adam's dust was gathered is where the temple mount is sitting).
Due to a mistranslation in the Septuagint (a flawed early translation of the Hebrew scriptures), Christians have thought of Isaiah as referring to a virgin rather than a "young woman" who would have a baby. Although Jesus is never mentioned by name or otherwise identified, they ignore the original text and believe that Isaiah 7:14 was a prophecy of the birth of Jesus.
Do Hindu have holy persons or prophets?
Hindus do not exactly have holy persons or prophets like other religions. Hindus believe in avatars and gods unlike the other religions like Islam and Christianity that have many saints and prophets.
How did the prophet Zephaniah die?
Answer 1
Zephaniah was put death by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon.
Answer 2
As a researcher and contributor, I'm unable to find any biblical record of the death of Zephaniah. It appears the answer is, "Unknown."
Answer 3
Jeremiah 52:24-27 explains how King Nebuchadnezzar killed Zephaniah
Additional Comments:
Jewish names are like many others where there are usually more than one person with the same given name - even in a similar line of work. This seems to be the case here with Answer 3 above. The priest name Zephaniah in the Book of Jeremiah 52:24-27 appears to be the same man as noted in Jeremiah 29:25, at least they share the same given name. This figure does not appear to be the Prophet Zephaniah.
The Prophet Zephaniah who wrote a book in the Old Testament, was a contemporary of Jeremiah. He lists his genealogy back four generations to Hezekiah (probably Judah's King then) as follows: son of Cushi, son of Gedaliah, son of Amariah, son of Hezekiah in the days of Josiah, King of Judah - circa 627 BC.
On the other hand, the priest Zephaniah mentioned in Jeremiah 29 and 52 says he is the son of Maaseiah. So, it is obviously a different Zephaniah than the 'minor prophet' Zephaniah of whom the Scripture does not note his date/way of death.
What is the story of prophet musa?
The summary of Moses is A retelling of the bible story. Pharaoh Ramses decrees the death of all Hebrew children, but Moses, placed in a basket in the Nile by his mother, is taken by a royal princess and raised as the brother of the heir to the throne of Egypt, Memefta. Moses is called by God to lead his people from Egypt to the promised land. A very reluctant prophet, feeling unworthy of the call, Moses accepts the task. After a series of plagues Memefta agrees to let the Hebrews go. With second thoughts, he pursues them to annihilation of his army in the parting of the Red Sea. Starvation is averted by manna from heaven, the ten commandments are given the people through Moses, they go astray with worship of the golden calf. Forty years of wandering in the wilderness, until finally they reach what will be their home (which Moses lives to see but not to enter). Written by Bruce Cameron {dumarest@midcoast.com} The story begins in Egypt with the persecution of newborn Hebrew males, and Ptira's, the Pharaoh's daughter, discovery of the infant Moses on the Nile. Moses' youth at the Pharaoh's court ends abruptly when he is forced to flee, after he kills an Egyptian overseer to save his brother Aaron. During his years of exile, Moses meets his future wife Zipporah and her father Jethro. After Moses and Zipporah's wedding, the vision of God in the Burning Bush occurs, commanding Moses to return to Egypt with Zipporah and his brother Aaron. There, Moses and Aaron confront the Pharaoh, demanding that he free the Israelites. Only after the tenth plague - the killing of the Egyptian firstborn - does the Pharaoh allow them to depart. With the crossing of the Red Sea and God's destruction of the Egyptian army ends the first part of the story. The second part begins with the discontent of the famished Israelites with Moses. The mood changes when God nourishes Israelites with the sudden, welcome gift of manna and quails in the desert. On the slopes of Mount Sinai, God and the people of Israel enter into a Covenant, which is sealed by Moses receiving the Ten Commandments on the mountaintop. Upon his return to the camp, however, Moses is shocked to discover that the people of Israel have lost their faith in God and are now worshipping an idol: the Golden Calf. In rage, Moses smashes the tablets and severely punishes the idolizers before retreating to the mountaintop and receiving the new tablets. On the way to the Promised Land, Moses' sister, Miriam, jealous of Moses' wife Zipporah, rebels against her brother's leadership. God punishes her and makes it quite clear that Moses is the chosen leader and will remain so. Finally on the borders of the Promised Land, the Israelites send out twelve scouts. Their fearful description of the Canaanites when they return shocks the people of Israel into rebelling against Moses and Aaron, intending to kill them and return immediately to Egypt. God quickly punishes the rebels, and tells Moses that none of the adult Israelites he has led will ever see the Promised Land, and instead must wander through the desert for another 40 years. Exactly forty years later, Miriam dies. Although Moses wants to mourn the loss of his sister, the people only complain to him about the lack of water. At God's command, Moses strikes a rock and water flows from it, but he is so angry and frustrated with his people that he forgets to attribute the miracle to God, and he too is condemned to never enter the Promised Land. Moses appoints Joshua as his successor and sets off alone to the peak of Mount Nebo. As a final mark of his forgiveness and thankfulness, God grants Moses the chance to look over into the Promised Land just before his death. Finally, now under the leadership of Joshua, the Israelites cross the Jordan river into the Promised Land. Happyfeet360 wrote this.

What characteristics do Judaism Christianity and Islam share as prophetic religions?
All 3 believe:
Which prophet wrote the shortest book?
Likely it was Jesus Christ at age 33. Who though He came as the Son of God was also to be considered a prophet, or John the Baptist, also called a prophet who died around the same age. If however we are talking in terms of the Prophets actually in the times of the Books of the Old Testament, that is hard to say as we do not know the ages of death of many of them. If I were to guess I would guess one who met an untimely end. This prophet however is not named. His story is in 1 Kings 13:1-24. But I cant be certain of that, just that likely overall the youngest to die was Christ and John the Baptist.
Did Nostradamus believe in God?
Yes. Nostradamus was a Christian. His relationship with the Church, as a prophet and healer, was excellent, although he was briefly imprisoned because he had published his 1562 almanac without the prior permission of a bishop, contrary to a royal decree.
AnswerNostradamus was born into a Jewish home, but his parents and himself converted to Catholicism. It does appear that for some of his life, he was fairly religious and active in his faith; but, after the death of his first wife and their 2 children- which, though he had helped to save other plague victims thru making a type of Vit D supplement (& the like), he was unable to save his wife and their children.-
After this loss, it appears that his healthy curiosity of Astronomy & the Earth, he begun to dig deeper, and into the occult. He began doing private meditation or sayances (sp?) sessions. This is when he began going in the direction of the occult & away from G-d. Doing these sessions, opens one up to evil/ possession/ and to evil prophecies (prophesies not from G-d). The Bible does state that the Devil has been given enough leash to give prophecies- and even though some may be accurate (to entice others into believing), they can't be trusted. And the importance of truly knowing the word of G-d and His warnings to ensure one isn't tricked.
Nostradamus may have believed that his revelations were given by G-d, or he may have completely turned away from G-d in search for the same thing that caused the original fall- infinite knowledge. This, is a bit harder to find a straight answer.
Be sure to keep a critical mind, and allow for honest research to lead you, rather than, ones OWN perception (like the response below). In today's world, in can take some time of sifting through misinformation/ opinions, and out right lies, in order to find &/ or piece together the full truth. Be accepting of new information, look for disproving & supporting info, and always remain critical. And most of all, leave ones ego at the door. Our ego/ pride can prevent truth from coming to us more than anything else.

ANSWER:Nostradamus did not behave as if he believed in God as a real entity as described in the Bible. If he did believe, he did not believe sufficiently to heed God's words. Neither did he communicate with God since all of his prophecies failed wheras ones from God were fulfilled. Also, Nostradamus used divinition and other occultish practises forbidden in the Bible. Neither did he reveal the name of his deity. How old was the prophet nahum when he died?
The book of Nahum is only 3 chapters long. Since he was not a patriarch there was no used to write his age when he died.
Did mohammed the prophet have children?
Yes, Ismail had children. We know he had children because Ismail's later descendants from these children, who came to be the northern Arabs, included Prophet Muhammad (S) and his family. Muslims believe that Muhammad is the great nation in which God promised Ismail in the Book of Genesis, where it says:
"And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of 12 rulers, and I will make them into a great nation." (Genesis 17:20)
Why should Muslims follow the prophet Muhammeds teachings?
Prophet Muhammad is the last and final messenger of Almighty Allah, there will no more prophet going to come to this earth with new message. so, its the duty of Muslim to believe Prophet Muhammad is the last and final messenger of Allah.
What was the name of the Prophet's tribe?
The prophet (SAW)'s tribe name was "Quraish", and his family name "Banu Hashim"
Which prophet's book consist of two books?
The Books of Jeremiah and Lamentations are both traditionally ascribed to Jeremiah, but the actual authorship of Lamentations can not be established. Similar style and language are common to several of the prophet's contemporaries, and the viewpoint expressed in Lamentations is most unlike his pronouncements in Jeremiah.
No. Being a prophet refers to someone who performs prophecy, e.g. relaying the words of a divinity to other humans, not in saving people. A person can be a prophet and actually murder many or a person can save many people and not be a prophet. The two are not related.
