They don't like that. So start verrrrry small. They are safe to be taken together, just be real familiar with both so you know when you can take less. I have my "spares" bottle that grows over time. I'm rather proud of it, it's proof I've been able to skip doses here and there when I simply felt like I could. My final piece of advice: Write the day/night/party/dinner get together etc off before taking the Ativan, if you can. There is no impact on your meds by telling your friends you're just not up for it. The opposite or worse-- diving into the spares bottle for a simple night out? That's a step in the wrong direction. And when taking adderall and ativan together, there aren't many steps, they're very steep, but the view sure is good from up here. :)
