I cannot understand why the medical profession does not or will not recognize this common , very human trait. There is nothing wrong with someone wanting same gender care. I have not met one teen male who would be comfortable being examined by a female Doctor or Nurse for that matter. Do your kids a favor parents, give them the choice, especially for males, Why do you think we do not go tot the Doctor? Childhood experiences that's why.
