Where does the Qur'an come from?
The quran is believed to be the unchanged word of God.
Parts of it were transmitted either directly to the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) or through the angel Gabriel.
Quran is God revelation to prophet Muhammad (peace upon him) through the Angel Gabriel (Jibril). Quran revelation started in year 610 AD and continued until year 632 AD (year of prophet Muhammad death).

I assume that you mean by this sacred book the holy book Quran (or may be spelled as Qura'n, Quraan, Koran, Koraan, Kora'n, Kuran, Kuraan, or Kura'n).
Quran is the God revelation to prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the angel Gabriel (Jibril). The revelation language was in Arabic. This explains that the Quran is the only holy book that remained, and remain by God will; without single word or letter change and is the only book recited; at least and as minimum; five times a day by all Muslims during their praying.

The Qur'an was revealed in Arabic by God. It is His Word passed to Muhammad through Gabriel. It is a miracle - no one can write anything as beautiful, consitent, meaningful and factualy correct. That is the proof that it is from God. Being an amazing book - even the unbelievers could not explain how such a miraculous book could have been written - Muhammad always said that it was not his words, but God's. Moses says, in Deuteronomy 18:18: "God will raise from among your bretheren ( the 'bretheren" of the Children of Israel are the children of Ishmael - the Arabs ) a Prophet like me ( a prophet who would be similar to Moses, which Muhammad is ). And He will put His words in his mouth..." That is the Qur'an. The words of God - put in Muhammad's mouth. Jesus said, in John 14 through 20: "I have told you many things, now, but have not told you everything for you are not ready for it. But when the "Comforter" comes he will bring you into the full knowledge. (The Church incorrectly says the comforter is the Holy Spirit. In the original language of the written gospel, Which is Greek, the word used is 'Parakletos'. If, in actuality, the correct word is 'Piracletos' - with one letter difference - then Jesus spoke of a man who's name in Aramaic would be Hamda. In Arabic, the name is Ahmad. The Qur'an says that when Jesus spoke of Muhammad, he called him "Ahmad" - which is the shortened version of "Muhammad"). And he will not speak from himself, but whtsoever he hears from theFather, THAT shall he speak". That is the Qur'an. Muhammad did not make it up. What is miraculous in this verse is the scientific fact that the sun is shining by itself ( A source of light) which comes from the Arabic word ضياء, while the moon is not shining by itself but by the reflected light on it (which comes from the Arabic word نور ). The word "ضياء" which is used for the sun & the word "نور" which is used for the moon assures that.
This is one of the scientific miracles of Quran. It shows that the sun light is originated from the sun itself but the moon light is not and comes from outside the moon. This scientific fact had been proved only recently while the Quran was revealed in the period from 610 AD through the year 632. These scientific miracle of Quran are strong proofs that Quran is real God words revealed to prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by God through the Angel Gabriel (Jibril) and not a human text authored by Muhammad or somebody else.

Why did God create the pen first?
Well God (Allah) in Islam created the pen to write all that would occur from then to Judgment Day ( the last hour) on the Conserved Board. Meaning every creation, action, place..etc.
So all that happened and that will happen is written on this mystical Board and non knows what is written except Allah.

So many people have started to go astray because they are thinking that the mosques that they follow are all the same as others but what they don't know is that the aqidah of these people from these different mosques is different. Surely, if their aqidah is wrong then they are not on the path in which Allah (azwajal), the holy prophet sallallahualayhiwasallam and the quraan have instructed them to.
If you think that you are in this situation, i urge you to speak to the imaams of those mosques. See how different their aqidah is to Ahle sunnah wal jamaat. They are the only true path and the largest group of Muslims out of all Muslims. Why not try to talk to someone from ahle sunnah wal jamaat. Meaning English translation:
{Believers, when you are about to pray, wash your face and your hands along with the elbows and wipe your head and your feet to the ankles. If you experience a seminal discharge, manage to take (the required) bath. If you are sick, or on a journey, or have just defecated, or have had intercourse with women and cannot find any water, perform a tayammum by: touching clean natural earth with both palms and wiping (the upper part) of your face and (the back of) your hands. God does not want you to suffer hardship. He wants you to be purified. He wants to complete His favors to you so that perhaps you would give Him thanks. (6)} [Quran, chapter 5, verse 6]
Are Muslims free to leave Islam for another religion?
There is no compulsion in accepting any religion. One should think hundred and one times before accepting Islam. But if a person accepts Islam, he is NOT free to convert to any other religion. It may make a mockery of Islam. That is not permitted.
