Answer 1 The holy Q'ran does not teach that non Muslims are infidels. Muslims are taught to treat people of all religions with respect. However, it is compulsory for Muslims to do what ever they can do against any people who harm them or prevent them from worshiping Allah.

Revelation of the Quran

The Quran was revealed piecemeal throughout a period of about 23 years. The Prophet received the first revelation in 610CE, in the Cave of Hira in the Mountain of Light (Jabale-Noor), two and a half miles away from the House of Allah in the city of Makkah in Arabia.

Muslims believe in Jewish holy book; the Torah. Jews and Christians were living in peace and equal rights as Muslims when Muslims were controlling Spain. However, when Christians conquered Muslims in Spain and controlled the country, they committed massacres against both Muslims and Jews, destroyed their properties, and forced them either to convert to Christianity or to leave the country (mostly to the currently called Morocco). This explains that until present the percentage of Jews in Morocco is much higher than the percentage in Spain or any other Arab country.
