Answers for is-836 nuclear radiological incident annex?
The answers can be found in the FEMA study guide for Emergency Support Function. Seeing the importance of this information, you would want to study to understand the answers. You can find the guide at the related link below.
Working conditions of radiology?
Radiology performs imaging of the human body for diagnosis or treating medical problems.
mA (millamps) x Time (seconds) = mAs
mA Tube Current
The second control of the output of the x-ray tube is called the mA (milliamperage) control. This control determines how much current is allowed to flow through the filament which is the cathode side of the tube. If more current (and therefore more heating) is allowed to pass through the filament, more electrons will be available in the "space charge" for acceleration to the target and this will result in a greater flux of photons when the high voltage circuit is energized. The effect of the mA circuit is quite linear. If you want to double the number of "x" photons produced by the tube, you can do that by simply doubling the mA. Changing the number of photons produced will affect the blackness of the film but will not affect the film contrast.
S Time
The third control of the x-ray tube which is used for medical imaging is the exposure timer. This is usually denoted as an "S" (exposure time in seconds) and is combined with the mA control. The combined function is usually referred to as mAs or milliampere seconds so, if you wanted to give an exposure using 10 milliampere seconds you could use a 10 mA current with a 1.0 second exposure or a 20 mA current for a 0.5 second exposure or any combination of the two which would result in the number 10. Both of these factors and their combination affect the film in a linear way. That is, if you want to double film blackness you could just double the mAs.
Which is the better career Radiology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer?
It's not that one is better than the other; it's just that they are different. The question should be, "which one is best for me?" In order to determine that, you must first acquire a vision; a specific and clearly articulated picture of the future you intend to create for yourself. This vision should be based on a passion for what you want to do and the benefit it will bring to others as well as yourself. Once you acquire that vision, your path will become clear.
How do you get radiology technician certification?
Radiology technician certificates are required by all states if you want to be employed in this field. To get one you need to pass the state exam after you've taken the necessary schooling. The school will guide you in this.

What colleges in Hawaii have radiology tech programs?
There's only one school in the whole state currently offering the Radiologic Technology program and it's Kapi'olani Community College on the island of 'Oahu.
What are the top radiology residency programs in California?
UCSF (Univ of CA at san francisco) is considered the top radiology program in CA. It is considered by many to be the most competitive (although not "the best") to get into in the country. I'm not sure what those previous programs listed were, but they were not radiology residency programs. Perhaps they were radiology technologist training programs. A radiologist is an M.D. who goes through 4 yrs undergrad, 4 years med school, 1 year general internship, 4 years residency and likely 1-3 years fellowship (14-16 yrs post high school) whereas a tech is a two yr program after high school (some prefer a 2-4 yr degree first though I believe).
Advantages and disadvantages of radiology structure?
Advantages: schooling is fast & you make good money
Disadvantages:there are many fields.. and looking at people with the broken ligaments, where you can actually see the bone!!!
What are the uses and applications of chemistry?

What is The study of radiology?
Typically , it's the use of radiation to scientifically examine material structures. In medicine, it is the use of radiation to diagnose and treat diseases.
Answer-
Radiology is the study of different types of imaging including include x-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI etc. It is an important component of diagnosis and treatment. Radiology students study about how to create the images of internal parts of the human body.
What education and training is required to become an X ray technician?

Does radiation affect the radiology technician's body?
The simple answer is yes, but the exposures the RT receives are monitored so that the RT doesn't approach what is considered by the radiation safety community to be hazardous levels of exposure. What the RT will probably receive is a chronic, low level exposure to radiation (unlike the acute, high levels that we hear about in radiation bombings, accidents, and poisonings). In the US, the whole body limit is 5000 mrem per year (50 mSv/yr). The RT typically never approaches this level of whole body exposure. The radiology area where the RT will get the most exposure is in the fluoroscopy suite, the nuclear medicine technologist in the PET imaging area, and the radiation therapist in the brachytherapy application. The RT should be schooled in the concepts of time, distance, and shielding in order to keep their exposures as low as reasonably achievable. The pregnant RT is limited even further, to 500 mrem/yr (0.5 mSv/yr). This is to protect the relatively radiosensitive fetus from undue exposure.
