In north-east after IIT GUWAHATI , NIT SILCHAR offering best technical education but if you want to go out of assam state . then you have many good choices in T-school . Other NIT,S like Allahabad, jaipur are far-far better than IITG & NITS in many expect .

even in delhi other college like DCE & NSIT is far better than NITs .

if you join any college in lucknow,kanpur,Noida, delhi . you have lots of job scope and interface with upcoming technology .

and many streams open for you in context of higher study preparation(GRE,GMAT,CAT,IES,IAS) & can select easily good institute acadmy for respective preparation.

in new trend after b.tech from IIt,s & NIT,s 80% people go far higer studies or B-schools .

my personal advice to you my dear friend you stictly choose t-schools which is in many city and having good transportation with many city land. then you can explorer youself in shake for higher studies .

and choose better college between better branch

because in placement matter a lot college ranking not your branch.

so if you have biotechnology in iit kanpur it is 100 times better than you have TOP branch in IIT -g , or in nit warangal .
