If your motorhome is repossessed what can they take?
Just the motorhome. Any personal property inside the motorhome remains yours, and they may not take it. In most states, however, they may charge a storage fee for personal property which was removed from the repossessed vehicle.

this is a repair usually done in a shop, simply because of the danger of the springs inside the awning, that very realistically can remove a finger. I do suggest you leave this to a pro.
Can motor homes go through the Chesapeake bay tunnel?
Motorhomes are allowed thru the tunnel. I called the tunnel police and asked. The only thing you have to do is turn your propane off at the tanks.
What does the A refer to in motor home classes?
Motorhomes are generally grouped into three categories: Class A, Class B, and Class C. Class A motorhomes are usually the largest, sometimes as long as 40 feet. They are shaped either like buses, or else like huge boxes on wheels. Most have functioning 3-piece bathrooms (often a 4-piece) and a functioning kitchen, with stove and refrigerator. Many have 'slide-outs' which, when parked, provide greater 'living room' floor space. They usually have a separate bedroom as well. Furnaces are common. Brand new, many sell in the quarter million to half million dollar range. Class B motorhomes are the smallest type. The VW Westphalia is a Class B, as are some larger ones, up to the size of a Sprinter or a little bigger. Generally, they retain the shape of a van. Washroom facilities are rare, and cooking facilities are minimal. Class C motorhomes can often be longer than some Class A ones, and have most of the facilities as well, but are generally smaller. The biggest difference between Class A and Class C is the front of the vehicle: it retains the appearance of a truck. Class C motorhomes almost always have a sleeping compartment over top of the driving area. Slide-outs are not common. Many have limited washroom facilities, and some do not have a separate bedroom. Kitchen areas can be a little smaller, and 'living rooms' are small. Do a Google search of "Class A" + 'Motorhome' to get an idea of the selection and features available.

Can you tow a 2004 Jeep Cherokee behind a Motor home?
One, buy yourself a car dolly, they are not cheap. Two go to harbour freight and purchase a tow bar. It bolts to the front undercarriage of the vehicle and has a cap to fit the towball on the back of the pulling vehicle. For some strange reason the jeep will follow as if someone is driving it. It's about sixty bucks.

What does a 1976 Dodge Diplomat motor home look like?
I've owned one of these and the layout was fabulous. We traveled thousands of miles with just a few incidents- ball joint repairs, and some problems keeping the cabin cool and the brakes from overheating on steep declines.
The one we owned was 22 feet long, had a bathroom with full shower across the back end. It had a couch seating 3-4 and a square table with booth like seating around it. The kitchen formed a c shape and the fridge and heater were opposite the stove. It was a class c with bed over cab.
Hope this helps.

What is the safest RV or motorhome?
There are three basic types of motorhomes.... Class A, Class B, and Class C. Class A motorhomes are made on custom chassis. Either by a manufacturer like the Ford and Chevy/Workhorse or a dedicated Motorhome manufacturing company like a Tiffen or Fleetwood Some are better made that others.
Class C and B Motorhome's are made from a van chassis, or a van chassis cutaway. The result is a vehicle that has a driver/passenger compartment that has been crash tested. Most Class A's have never been crash tested. The Exception being, the Winnebago's 10' drop test.
A lot of the Class A Motorhomes have a large CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) television setting just above the drivers compartment. These are usually mounted in wood. You can figure out where it will end up in and accident. The bottom line is do your homework on any specific motorhome you are thinking of buying. These things cost a lot of money. Know what you are buying before your purchase. This is a quick overview on this subject of motorhome safety. Click on the link below for a more detailed analysis.
Schematic for holiday rambler motor home electric?
I have a 1999 HR Endevor (gas), when I got it there wasn't any 120 to the front of the home (TV, VCR, etc.). After no luck from the factory I chased wires myself. That feed appears to run from the outlet under the table (GFI) up passed the thermostat over passed the top of the door, then down passed the slide switch and on down to the outlet behind the recliner. From there it goes back up and then to the overhead outlets and then down to the TV by way of the passenger windshield post. My problem was in the feed wire that ran up over the door, so I isolated it and for now run a jumper wire between the two outlets until I get one ran out of sight.

What cars can be flat towed all wheels down behind a motor home?
ALL KIAS with manuel transmissions can be towed on all fours (since there are no more saturns and suzukis have no dealer network ) you have to be an A-HOLE NOT to buy a KIA or you are an old school ignorant idiot that thinks KIAS are not GREAT!!!!!!!
Most newer universal replacement motors are capable of rotating either direction, depending on how they are wired. With these type motors, usually designated as CW/CCW (clockwise/counterclockwise) it is simply a case of switching the position of the power supply wires that connect to the motor terminals. If the motor does not specify that it is reversible, it can't be done. If you have the motor make and model number, you should be able to tell by looking it up online or contacting the manufacturer. ---------The above information is incorrect. Yes, most motors ARE reversible, though none I have ever seen are done through the power leads as these are AC voltage motors and not DC, which is polarity particular and would spin the opposite direction. Either the motor is reversible or not. If it is, it will have 4 extra wires coming out, (besides the two for the power and the one or two for the capacitor connection), (short wires), that you can reverse the way they're plugged into each other. Some have a single reversible plug, others have 2 pairs of wires which you reverse. If it's not reversible, either return the motor or get another fan blade.
Is it advisable to replace the 16.5-inch rims on a 1970's model GMC motorhome with 16-inch rims?
The rims and tires for motor homes are sized differently for a reason. I don't suggest switching to different rims as the tires with the correct load rating may not be available in that size.
Answerit would depend what your trying to achieve. in my experience (10years in the transport industry) it wouldn't be the first time someone changed rims on a vehicle, & had no adverse effects, infact it can be better, you can get cheaper tyres, & depending on what profile of tyres, a smoother ride, & if you go to a larger overall diameter (which if your going from 16.6 down to 16 i would guess not) you can get a better distance from a set.
one thing to keep an eye on, your speedo may alter, depending on the overall size of the tyre(its called RPK -revolutions per kilometer -depending on the country your in)
make sure the load rating on the tyres is suitable, (the rims will handle it id the tyres do) check the offset of the rims, & also the mounting style. i.e what type of wheel bolts is used, iso, bud, eng, etc etc
best person to talk to would be your local tyre dealer. they [should] have all the required info
Should be #1 + to vehicle HOT #1 - to #2 + #2 - to #3 + #3 - to Vehicle Ground Caution this answer may be incorrect. Please check with your Dealer for the correct connection procedure.
