It depends on the exact circumstances, whether you have insurance, whether you actually want the car back or are willing to let the storage facility sell it for scrap, and so on. But yes, in order to get the car out of the storage yard, somebody is going to have to pay the storage fee one way or another.

It's not really clear what you mean by "out of repossession". Repossession is an event, not a condition. If you're asking if you can get it back after it's been repossessed, it's at least theoretically possible if you act quickly enough; you should contact the leasing agency and find out what you need to do. Contact your bank. Unfortunately, the answer is probably that you can't. UCC 3-411 makes banks who refuse payment on a certified check liable to penalties. There are some defenses against that, so it might be worth contacting the bank anyway, but don't get your hopes up. You're probably going to have to let the recipient cash the check and then attempt to sue them to recover damages.
