A complete and functional, but not like new, 12 gauge utility double is worth $150-$250, depending on exact condition and its appeal to the prospective buyer's eye.

i don't know this answer but i have a this exact shotgun that was patented on this exact date that was given to me from my grandpa

Neither the Standard Catalog of Firearms nor the Blue Book of Gun Values lists any revolvers under Richland, only shotguns imported from Spain or Italy. Judging from the values these two references assign to the shotguns sold by Richland, I would suspect that they are rather utilitarian. They should work well but not be particularly well-finished or highly decorated. I would assume that any revolvers they imported would be of similar quality.

I believe the 1915 patent date means the gun is identical to the Stevens 311 series. Numrich Gunparts at the related link should be able to help you.

I got one from e-gunparts.com, which is Numrich. They have schematics for many guns.

Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Auto 5's with recoil pads (other than Mag 12's) poly-chokes and compensators will reduce value. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.

Savage/Stevens made a lot shotguns with the Riverside name and Browning patented a lot of guns, features, and improvements. Give a model name or number and describe the action (automatic, slide, etc) and we may be able to give a ballpark estimate.

The savage .300/.410 cased set can be worth several thousand dollars depending on a number of factors including the authenticity of the set and the overall condition of the 3 major components. There is a specific serial # range and different cases produced during several time periods. Often a rifle has been added to a box to make a complete set after the originals have been separated. There is no way to tell the gauge from the serial number, and that may not even be a true serial number. Diamond Arms were made by several manufacturers for distribution by the Shapleigh Hardware Company of St Louis between the 1880s and 1940s. Anyone familiar with shotguns should be able to determine the gauge by looking at the gun, but to find the proper ammunition you should also have a gunsmith measure the length of the chamber.
