This is an interesting question.

1) Rosa Parks was born in America, which meant she was free. The lack of education of the time led her and most southern black's to believe they were 'second class' citizen's. This mainly by racist white people that still longed for slavery.

2) Rosa Park's being a Christian of very strong faith, believed in God's right's and freedoms that were written into the Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation and the Constitution.

3) this caused her to 'stand' for her God given right of being free and equal by sitting in a white only section of the 'city' bus she was on. This simple act caused more people to believe in the right's and freedoms given to them through the United States and they began to stand as well.

The important lesson that Mrs Parks has taught us is that it is important for all of us to understand the laws and rights of the government and who has the actual control. You see the People have the power of the Federal Government guaranteed by the Constitution.

Rosa parks is worth knowing because she fought for the civil rights for the black people to sit anywhere they like on buses.

Rosa parks changed the world by making the world a better place for blacks. how she did that was by going against the law by not going to the back of the bus. she also helped a bunch of black kids get a good education by tutoring them and by sending them to good school

She became a central figure in the quest for freedom of the black people. Making buses none segregated, the rest came by in some time. For a person like this, a book is a must.

1. When the Ku Klux Klan marched down the street in front of her house, Parks recalls her grandfather guarding the front door with a shotgun.

2. Parks went to a laboratory school set up by the Alabama State Teachers College for Black People for secondary education but was forced to drop out to care for her grandmother, and later for her mother, after they became ill.

3. In 1932, Rosa married Raymond Parks, a barber from Montgomery, at her mother's house.

The laws of segregation had several offenses included. When Rosa Parks denied a seat for white person, the action was included and she got arrested. It was a mayor act in the fight for rights.

during the time of black/white segregation Rosa parks, when sat on a bus was told to move when a white man got onto the bus. she refused. this was against the law. she stood up (metaphorically) for the right to have a seat on the bus as she was equally as worthy as the white man. rosa parks was arrested and taken to prison. a very famous black man named dr Martin Luther King heard about this and decided to help. Martin Luther King was a very strong public speaker. he then wrote and spoke the 'i have a dream'. delivered on the Lincoln memorial. (this speech is 17 minutes long). Martin Luther King was assassinated.

Yes, she did. On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested because she refused to give her seat to a white person on a bus. She had refused to comply on previous occasions, which had resulted in being put off the bus. That was what she was expecting on that day, but instead, the driver got a policeman to arrest her.

She did spend the night in jail, the charge was disorderly conduct.
