I would say they're weird. They want to show there side of the mirror. "There expression!:)" I'm proud people want to do that because it's who they are. There could be goth, popular, jocks, cheerleaders, and way more like skateboarders, there are a lot of them out there. I really admire these people who show who they are, but not through vandalism. Ask your parents if you can draw on paper and hang up some stuff you did. Ask your parents if you have an old pair of sneakers and draw your creativity. You are just being yourself. It's who you are and that's a good thing, to be yourself and know what's right.

You spend less time getting ready in the morning, when you buy uniforms they usually last 1 or 2 years but with normal clothes you have to buy more all the time. It helps identify students from your school from students from another school if you're at an inter-school event! If your wearing a uniform you can focus on school work better because there isn't lots of bright colours and patterns to distract you. It makes everyone feel equal, you won't lose your good clothes and it prepares you for wearing a uniform for work.
Most importantly poorer people don't get teased for having bad clothes and richer people, with more expensive clothes, don't look down on the poorer people for having those bad clothes.

I am arguing about school uniforms, should we have it or not? My view is that we shouldn't have school uniform. Statistics shows that the majority of children don't want to wear school uniform. For those who don't agree with me, read on and you will change your mind on having school uniforms.
My first argument is that school uniform is expensive, a whole school uniform which is shirts, tie, blazer, jumper and trousers are about £90 and you have to pay more as well for the P.E kit which is about £35 which cost together £125; you could buy about 10 tops, 10 trousers, 10 jumpers or even more is £125. Also if you're school uniform rips your going to have to spend more money. Also you might say that you need to buy more clothes which cost money as well but your child/ren will still ask for designer labels for outside of school clothing.
My second argument is that 97% of children find there school uniform itchy and uncomfortable. Also most of the children don't wear there school uniform the way they need to like children wear trainers, there shirts aren't tucked in etc.
Third, Students will still find a way to judge their peers. No matter what students wear they will still find a way to judge everyone. They could judge people by: hair style, hair colour, height, weight, accessories. Making students wear the same clothes will not change what they think about other people. By making them wear the same clothes you're sending them the message that you can't accept each other when you are different.
On the other hand of the argument people say it is a good idea to wear school uniform because it will protect children from others like if you got lost on a school trip and your teacher will be able to see you wearing a uniform from the other people around you, it shows people who you are. Also if you don't wear school uniform and you go out you will get in trouble so that is why it is good to wear a school uniform. School uniforms help maintain school discipline, decreasing the amount of discipline problems.
However I do not agree because I don't like wearing school uniforms myself because of the reasons I have gave from above. 99.9% of children hate wearing school uniform.

You can French-braid it or put beads and strings in it, or style up an awesome hairdo. Whatever you do, just make sure it's allowed!

How can you improve your boring school uniform?
I have to wear a uniform too! It sucks but I think I've found some ways to make it better. At my school we are allowed to wear jackets and such and long-sleeved shirts over our polos. Sometimes we are allowed to wear short-sleeved shirts too. With that being said, hers what I do: I normally wear like a cardigan or jeans jacket on top of my polo. If it buttons up all the way to the bottom, I take the two end and tie it. I would wear that with a skirt and combat boots. Another way is to wear pants with a cardigan and a scarf (when it's cooler) and riding boots. On hot days, I wear my shorts rolled up a little and my polo with a necklace or something that pops without too much clothing. ALWAYS wear something original whether it's jewelry or a headband so that you look different from everyone else
