Submersion method is one name for a technique of directing the performance of actors pioneered by Stanislavski. Preceding his better known work with method acting, submersion method was used bring truth to performance by having actors relive painful or otherwise potent emotional experiences. The techniques were eventually abandoned by Stanislavski after witnessing detrimental long term effects on the mental and emotional health of his actors. A few students of Stanislavski continued practicing the method but it has long time fallen into a minority of practitioners.

Will a light bulb evaporate water?
If you were to put a bare wire belonging to anything in a glass of water, the electricity flowing through the wire would have no reason to continue to travel through the wire instead of dispersing in the water.
The water offers less resistance, so the electricity flows through that instead of the wire. This is known as creating a short circuit, or a short, for short! With no electricity flowing through the bulb, it will turn off.

What are the strengths and weaknesses in the use of experiment?
Experimentation is the second most important tool in science. Examination is the first.
However, there is an aspect of experimentation that must always be carefully considered, and that is Empiricalmethod. Empiricism means that through scientific process and observation, others might come to the same well-thought-out conclusion, and thus a Theory may become a Law.
On the other hand, a poorly conceived experiment, or shoddy methods are the very opposite of good science. Because, science should always follow what is true and can be proven, regardless of what your preconceived notions or hypotheses might be.
