IF you can find the rear wheel bearings, you can do the job yourself pretty easily. Only four bolts hold the rear wheel bearings in on each hub.
I had to search and finally found some bearings for about 150 dollars apiece on eBay. A number of scumbag online sites said they had the parts in stock (even when I called and spoke to a human), only to tell me a few days later, after they had my money, the parts were not in stock. But I digress.
Jacked up the car, removed the rear wheel and drum. You crawl around underneath, remove the ABS sensor, and use a 14 or 13mm socket on an extension to break the bolts loose. Once removed, the bearings slide outward. Replace with new bearings, torque to 46ft lbs, and reinstall the ABS sensor wire. Remount the drum and wheels. Total time to change them was about an hour. Last step is you want to take the car in to have the wheels aligned, and you're good to go.

I own a 2007 Scoin tC with a AEM cold air intake and a Magnaflow cat back and i would say the downfall is its weight and the fact that it is really top heavy. All that glass and that big sliding sun roof come at a cost and that is weight. I would not say that it is a true negative. I love the car and will never regret buying it, but if i were to pick two things that would be them. Other than that the car is great, I consistly get 30 to 32 miles per gallon on road trips and i get around 24 to 25 around town. Happy Motering!
