To the top of the spire, the Sears Tower is 1729 feet tall. Given that there are 5280 feet in a mile, this means that the Sears Tower is (1729 ft)(1 mile/5280 ft) = 0.327 miles tall, or almost a third of a mile.

While he did not build the structure (he died in l959), there is some evidence the idea was suggested under a different name (Illinois Building) by Frank Lloyd Wright, one of the few true skyscrapers in which he had a role. The original design for the Illinois Building would have topped off at 5,280 Feet! Tall dreams! The Sears tower is a quarter of this at most, but there are similarities. From what I understand they were made from 1963 to 1967, they are made by hi-point, remington, or savage. The last year that my .22 model 25 was made was 1967. This is a great little gun. The only thing I don't like about it is the long reach from butt to trigger. (female) about 5'6" doesn't affect my shooting too much though. If you are interested in values. A "statute of limitations" is the time limit a person or company has to prosecute a complaint before the complaint becomes null and void. For example, if the statute of limitations on assault is 1 year and I call the cops after 9 months, then I can prosecute. If I call the cops after 13 months, then I can't prosecute. So in other words, there is no such thing as "being answerable" to a ststute of limitations. A statute of limitations makes a person unanswerable. Perhaps you are thinking of the statute of limitations on a Sears credit card? If Sears brought the original complaint against the card holder before the statute expired, then the card holder is liable. For example, the statute for credit card debt is 7 years. If I charge something on a Sears card and don't pay it back, Sears can wait for 6 years and 363 days to file a complaint. The civil case or repossession or whatever can then be executed more than 7 years after I have made the credit card purchase. The statute of limitations applies to the filing of the complaint -- not the execution of the settlement.

I'm quite sure that the Sears model #54 in 30-30 cal. was made by Winchester and is a duplicate of their model #94. These firearms were made to sell for a price of somewhat less than one could buy the same gun with the Winchester name on it. This was generally accomplished by using wood other than walnut and spending less time and care in the overall finish applied to the firearm. This, I'm sure, did not effect the safety or shootability of the firearm with the possible exception that the action did not cycle as smooth as a real Winchester. They probably sold for 20% to 30% less than a real Winchester.
The collectability of Winchesters does not spill over to "trade" guns such as this. The value of any used gun obviously relates to its overall condition. I would think you would be lucky to get 50% of what a like condition Winchester would fetch. Even if the firearm is in very good condition I would be surprised if a gun shop would offer you more than $150 for this firearm. A private party transfer mayby $50 bucks more to a knowledgeable buyer.

The book: "Marlin Firearms: A History of the Guns and the Company That Made Them" states their model 122 auto-safe .22 single shot bolt action was made from 1962 thru 1965, and that 5648 were made in that time frame. The model 122 is the same as Sears models 103.274, 103.275, and 103.2751.

Basically a Savage Model 63 single-shot bolt action .22. I have some parts for that model. sales@countrygunsmith.net
