What are the Japanese self defence systems?
The Samurai were Japan's elite fighting forces, and they wore armor and had several specialized weapons. Sometimes, however, they might lose their weapons during the course of combat. For this reason they were highly proficient at the unarmed Japanese martial art of Jujitsu (Jujutsu). It is thought, however, that Jujitsu had it's roots in China and Tibet.
Can a convicted felon poss a firearm in self defense?
Basically, no. Felons cannot legally own or possess firearms and that's the answer you should go with, however, here is the answer expounded upon slightly:
Tennessee (and possibly other states) has a law that says if you have possession of a firearm when you aren't supposed to have it, but then have to use it in self defense, you can't be charged with anything. The intent of that was not so that felons could have firearms, but to protect permit holders in case a permit holder accidentally went into a prohibited location but then had to defend himself, he wouldn't get into trouble. However, there was a case about a year ago where a guy, a felon, defended himself with a handgun and wasn't charged, and the local DA specifically referenced that law as the reason he decided not to charge the man with anything. But again, the answer to you question is, felons cannot legally possess firearms. A felon can often have their rights restored, but for information on that, it is best to contact an attorney familiar with the process. As you have a right to restoration/post conviction relief/relief from disabilities, whatever they call it in your state, it can be done without an attorney.
Why does the law allow self defence?
People who get in trouble for defending themselves do so because they either are not able to prove their case in court, or because they used more force than necessary in defending themselves. In a case of self defense you must be able to adequately articulate everything that led up to the altercation in detail, you must be able to prove that you were defending yourself and not the one who started the altercation, you must be able to convince the judge or jury that you had good reason to use the amount of force used, and it helps if you have witnesses who can collaborate your account of things. Under certain circumstances you can claim self defense even if you started the altercation. If you started a fight and then tried to disengage, but the other person would not stop and escalates the level of force then you may be able to claim self defense.
What self defense weapons are legal in Texas?
1. Knives- any fixed blade that is under 5.5 inches, cannot be serrated; as of September 1, 2013, switchblades that are under 5.5 inches, cannot be serrated and cannot be a stilleto style (as stilleto is used for stabbing and not cutting).
2. Tasers
3. With a Concealed Handgun License, a handgun of your choice. Nothing works better and looks life threatening like a Springfield .45 Auto.
Are 32 caliber revolvers good self defense weapens?
A 22 cal is too small for good self defense.
Added:
Small calibre ammunition may not stop an attacker immediately. Ballistic science enforces small calibre, .22 or .32, ammunition may bounce around in a person if it penetrates them at all. I would suggest ammunition commonly used by law enforcement, 9mm, 40 cal, 45 cal, or 38 cal, of a hollow point variety. But since we are talking about firearms for defense there is nothing better than a shotgun. Just racking a round into the chamber could stop an aggressor.
What ever you choose, choose wisely and consult an expert before you make any final purchases.

Are you allowed to kill someone in self defense?
It depends entirely on the circumstances and the laws of your country or area. In most places, a plea of self defence for a manslaughter/murder accusation can be upheld if the use of deadly force was absolutely necessary - if killing him was the only thing that stopped him killing you, basically. In others, it may reduce any murder to manslaughter and cut down a large amount of sentence.
It's not that simple. If you kill someone because an individual punches you, your going to have a big problem. If you believe that your life or the life of someone else was in imminent danger, and there is no other recourse, you can kill in this type of situation. However, at times this can get quite sticky. Others may have a different opinion on what exactly is imminent danger. You would have to prove your life or the life of someone else was legitimately in serious danger.

What do you feel is the best handgun caliber for general self defense?
No one answer possible. It will be a caliber with the best stopping power that you can shoot well, and is 100.00000% reliable. For some people, that is a .327 magnum, for some, a .45 ACP. I personally carry either a .357 Magnum or a compact .45 ACP, but both have too much recoil for my wife- who does very well with a .38 Special. As is often said- Your Mileage May Vary. Would suggest you visit a range that rents handguns for use on that range, and try as many as you can to see what works for you. A 250 lb football player and a 95 lb woman may have different needs and abilities- you did not say which one you were.
Can you shoot a badger in self defense in Wisconsin?
nope its not illegal anywhere to shoot rabbits anywhere unless someone see's you :) but where you are my friend.....you can shoot all the rabbits you want! just....get a proper gun mate....aslong as you can defantly kill the rabbit with a bb gun dont shoot them. its just cruel. much better getting an air rifle or shotgun to kill rabbits! even if its a cheap airgun worth like $20 its still better than a bb gun. if your still hoping to kill them with a bb gun now then make sure it kills them. hope that answerd you question. :)

What is the best 9 mm ammo for self defense?
There is no one answer to your question- otherwise there would be only one 9mm pistol made. It ill be the weapon that YOU shoot best, and is the most reliable in functioning. I am partial to the Browning Hi Power, other people prefer the Glock, some like the Sig, some S&W, some Mauser, Walther, Colt, etc. If you are shopping for a handgun, find a shooting range that rents guns for use of the range, and try as many as you can.

Can I go to jail for killing in self defense?
An assault is a threat of bodily harm with an apparent ability to cause the harm. It is both a crime and a tort and, therefore, may result in either criminal or civil liability.
If someone puts their hands on you in a threatening manner you are allowed to use the force necessary to escape or to defend yourself from harm, but only the amount necessary and no more. This is self-defense.
The two are not mutually exclusive. What you believe to be self-defense and present evidence in support of, is not necessarily so to the courts.
In short, if you defend yourself, the courts may still rule against you and yes, you may go to jail.
Is it legal to kill in self-defense in England?
It is never 'legal'. The exact circumstances will all have to be taken into account. If it was clearly a case of it either being you or the attacker being killed, then you will probably be acquitted. Same for accidentally killing an attacker in self defence - like if you pushed him away from you, but he fell and hit his head, dying from the injury.
However if you gained the upper hand and then deliberately killed the attacker, expect to be charged with manslaughter.
Where is the best place to conceal a knife?
Concealed weapons are against the law. You can carry a pocket knife as many people do, but something with a fixed blade, a more than three inch long blade, or a speciality knife such as a butterfly or switchblade knife, are against the law (in America anyway).
Be more specific..But usually if death is caused by self-defense..then you are less likely to get in trouble. Well, i mean it depends on the crime..if the victim died from self defense..the suspect will get murder. But if the suspect died from being attacked or harmed by the victim..then the victim shouldn't face a lot of time. I mean this question can continue but it really depends on the crime and what really happened..
