i got tamu for Christmas back in 1968 or 1969 as a little girl. unfortunately the next day my aunt pulled her ring so hard that it broke and her talking string recoiled right into her body. i had never been so heartbroken. i loved her so much for the 1 1/2 days that i had her. my aunt promised to get me another but she never did. every year since i would mourn for tamu at Christmas time. then 3 years ago my brother handed me a box while our family was opening Christmas gifts. my brother doesnt always give the best gifts so i just let the box sit there for awhile. when he finally got me to open the box, i partially unwrapped it and peeked inside. there was my beloved tamu peeking back at me. i began to sob uncontrollably (tears are streaming down my face as i type this). i was afraid to touch her. my brother coaxed me to take her out of box and to pull her string. i was so afraid to pull her string due to the trauma i'd experienced when my first tamu lost her voice. when i finally heard her sweet voice again i cried all over again. i still love her sooooo much, but can only bring myself to pull her string a few times a year. MY one and only big brother found tamu on the internet. her speech was garbled when her string was pulled. he sent her to a doll hospital in Texas and they were able to make her speak again. he had someone else make her a dress (she was nekkid). i have no idea how he paid to bring her to me but i am so happy he did. hopefully you will find her oneday.

I own a 1985 Crown Victoria and had the same problem. It started small. It only fogged up when I would stop and leave the engine running. The problem got worse and we discovered the heater core had small pinholes in it and that the fluid was leaking into the heating system and actually putting vaporized steam mixed with the vaporized antifreese into the car and causing the window to gof up. It got so bad that it was actually putting a steam cloud into the cab of the car. You should have your heater core checked first.
