The argument is that once a shark (or any wild animal for that matter) has attacked a human, they will continue to do so, and the only way to stop this from happening is to kill it.

Precautions should always be taken when enjoying a day at the beach.
Grouping:
Sharks are more likely to pick off an individual target rather than aiming towards a group. Stay in an area near friends or family when swimming and surfing.
Bleeding:
Never go into the water if you have any open cuts or scratches. This also includes females during their menstrual cycle. Sharks can sense a drop of blood from miles away and will be attracted to the scent.
Night Swimming:
Sharks are most active during evening and night hours. Avoid swimming in the ocean once the sun begins to set. It is also more likely that a shark will assume you to be a fish during this time.
Staying Close:
Don't stray too far from the sandy beach. The farther you venture, the more likely you are to wander into a predators territory. You also are setting yourself farther away from help if something were to happen.
Murky Waters:
Be very careful when swimming in murky waters. This is another time when a shark is most likely to mistake you for a fish
avoid excessive splashing. This can fool the shark into thinking you are a distressed fish and can attract them to your location. This also applies if you ever notice there is a shark in your vicinity.Splashing
Always try to avoid excessive splashing. This can fool the shark into thinking you are a distressed fish and can attract them to your location. This also applies if you ever notice there is a shark in your vicinity. First instinct may tell you to thrash and splash away from it as quickly as possible. However, this will do more harm than good. Try to remain as collected as possible making slow movements as to not turn attention in your direction. Pets are also a major issue and should always be on a leash and kept close to the beach. Their quick movements have been known to attract predators in the water
I hope yo enjoyed these tips on staying safe in the ocean.
What do chinease do with the sharks that they catch?
Depending on the fisherman, they will use the fins for soup, the meat for meat, the maw for medicine and supplements to prevent cancer, the liver for cod liver oil, the cartiliage for shark cartiliage supplements, the skin for leather and the teeth for medicine. The heart or other organs may also be used in "medicines" as the Chinese homeopaths equate sharks as powerful or virility stimulators. They can and may use almost every part of the shark. Some fisherman will fin or take the meat only. But, Chinese have a large market for all parts of the shark.

What are the similarities between megaladon and great white sharks?
Their
teeth are triangular. They both appear to both be very large. Unfortunately, all we have are the teeth of Megalodon. So, all else is speculation. They may have been seen by man, but, we do not know for certain as no one has discovered an unfossillized tooth of a Meg.
