What is the age of an Eastern Arms Co. 101 1 .20 gauge single shot shotgun which is found online to be Stevens 94B?

The 94 series was manufactured from 1926 to 1945. Total production was 934,000, including the ones marked with other trade names.

What is the value and year of a J Stevens single shot breakopen shotgun?

If there is more to the name than just "J Stevens", it could have been made as early as 1864, but if that's all it says, then it was made between 1920 and 1948. Value will range from $25 for a parts-gun to maybe $75 if nearly perfect (or $100 if it is a .410)

What are the values of a Remington 1148 auto 12 gauge shotgun and a Remington 7400 270 gauge with a scope?

1148 in 12 ga. auto, field grade, would probably sell for $200, if in very good condition. There is no such thing as a 270 gauge. It is a .270 Winchester caliber, in the 7400 Remington. In very good condition, it would likely $250 or so. The scope is usually a throw-in, and will only bring extra dollars if it is a Weaver, Redfield, Lyman, Leupold (unlikely). In that case...+$50 for a good weaver, $75 for a Redfield or Lyman, and $125 for a Leupold.

Who manufactured a 20 gauge double barrel shotgun stamped Ranger 5000 and what is its value?

The only thing I found was a link to a site with a 410 Gauge Ranger 5000 and its value was $1250.00. the link is http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976558887.htm Hope this helps.... Mark This would be a Stevens 311 made in the 1920's. That one offered on Gunbroker.com must be gold plated or be new with the original cardboard box and hang tags from the store because these regularly sell for $150-$250.

What would be the value of a single shot 410 long barrel pistol by J Stevens Arms Co?

That may depend on several things, but the most important thing for this particular gun is the barrel length. 12" is long for a pistol, but short for any smoothbore gun according to the BATF. Some manufacturers made .410 pistols with an 18 or 18-1/2" barrel that remained legal after the Gun Control Act of 1934, but I do not think any of the Stevens were more than 12-1/4". IF you have one with a barrel length of 18" or more AND an overall length of 26" it would be worth $100-$600 depending on its condition. BUT if it is any shorter, read the answers to the related question "What is the value of a J Stevens 410 break-top single-shot shotgun pistol with a 12 inch barrel and a leather holster" linked on the right side of this page.

How old and what is the value of a double barrel side by side 16 ga shotgun marked Crescent Fire Arms Co New Empire 0934 and is a buttpad with Redhead Brand Chicago Patent no 105353 original?

Crescent was in business from 1892 to 1930. If it is a hammerless gun, it was not made before 1903. Value would be from $150-$250 and the Redhead recoil pad is an addon but it's not going to deduct anything from the value like it would on a high-end collectable.

How do you find information on a 14 gauge shotgun?

14 gauge shotgun shells have not been commercially available in the US since the 1920's and there probably hasn't been a gun chambered for them made since WWI. If you want to give a little more information - like all the writing and symbols found on the gun, I can probably tell you a bit more.

What is the history and value of a Berkshire double Damascus barrel shotgun with Serial No T3210754?

Berkshire shotguns were manufactured by Meriden Firearms Co, Andrew Fyrberg Mfg Co, and Crescent Fire Arms for Shapleigh Hardware Co of St Louis and Sears Roebuck.

Where can you find something about the manufacturer and possible value of a Witte's Special NO12 410 double barrel shotgun?

Several different trade names include the name Witte and were made for Witte Hardware in St Louis from the 1880's to 1920's. Double barrels marked Witte Special were made by J. Stevens A&T Co / J. Stevens Arms after 1914. If your gun actually has the "'s" on the name, it may be something different. Value as a shooter (only if approved by a competent gunsmith) or as a wall decoration would be $150-$250, depending on condition. * Just noticed that this is a 410. Add $50 the top-end price, even more if it is like new.

How do you find out the manufacturer on your 12 gauge single barrel shotgun?

The best way if there are no markings of a manufacturer on the gun it's self is to run across the serial number. Look for resources on the internet for serial numbers and who made it, or you could always call the sheriff's office and they'll tell you.

When was a Newport model WN 16GA single barrel shotgun made and what is it worth?

Could have been made any time from the early 1900's up to about 1960. The guns were made by Crescent, Harrington & Richardson, and Iver Johnson for sale by Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. Value today is $35-$75, maybe $100+ if absolutely like new.

What is the age of a 12 gauge Wards Western Field Model 52-sbs double barrel shotgun?

I believe this is really a Savage/Stevens 311. If so, this number is probably on the right side of the receiver, or if it is a bit older it may be marked 5000 or 5100. These models were manufactured from about 1920 until 1989.

What are Iver Johnson 12 gauge shotguns worth?

All old and antique firearms are valued mostly by condition, quality and popularity. The true value of any firearm is what is it worth to you,the present owner. I have several good quality L.C.Smith and several Iver Johnsons all in very fine condition. I would consider the Iver Johnsons to be equal to or superior to the highly valued and much praised L.C.Smith. In my opinion the Hercules Grade is every bit as valuable as the lower grade and more popular LCS. The only difference being is that the L.C.Smith collectors are better organized. SaskJack
