As far as i know, Siberian huskies are primarily "used" for towing sleighs in polar conditions, such as Greenland or Antarctica.

The diet for a Siberian Husky would be typical of any domestic dog. The exception to that would be if you are working the dog in which case they need to be fed a high protein, high fat diet in order to keep their weight on. If they are not working this type of diet would cause them to become over weight very quickly. As with humans the more they work and run the more they need to eat.

Huskies have been around for over 4000 years, but it wasn't until the late 19th century that they were imported from Siberia to Alaska.

That would depend on the lineage and quality of the parents (are they purebred AKC registered, show dog, hips eyes and other diseases checked, etc). If they are "accident" puppies or puppies with no real background, they will be cheaper. But I think you could sell Aussie Huskies for quite a bit because I know they tend to have a very unique and gorgeous appearance that will catch anyone's eye. Cheap "accident" puppies or puppies that may be of questionable background are usually free-$300, somewhat better puppies with good parents are about $500-$700, but puppies that have good pedigrees and are from reputable breeders can range anywhere from $900-$2000. My lab's puppies were $1275 because a reputable breeder bred her and her parents with show dogs. Also, a higher price will probably catch the "good" dog owners, the people that are serious about getting a dog and will take good care of it. I would advise pricing a little high so that your puppies don't end up in bad situations in the long run. I'm so jealous of your puppies!! They must be gorgeous!! Best of luck!
