yep. just throw it in a jar/bowl with your bearings and shake. just don't use it for a soak, because it might start to corrode the bearings (or the jar or bowl). dry them off very well with a hair dryer or compresses air, then throw some lube on. i recommend sewing machine lube, or lube meant for bearings such as bones speed cream.

Firstly, obviously you would need a threading "die" and a die handle the type of thread a skateboard axel is im not sure maybe metric/imperial to find the correct die you would have to use a thread guage first. In order to get a good cut you need to have it on square and use some cutting compound. VOODOO 13: I use the REFLEX UTILITOOL skateboard multitool it has a built-in thread die to rethread your trucks.

Ok I would say around 180 to 200. haha i got mine for 3 Euro at a Italian thrift store. I would suggest though that you don't sell it it is a great bored and rides well.

As with many aspects of skateboarding equipment, personal preference is the number one qualifier when asking "which is better?" As a general rule, though, weight is not something that has any benefit on a skateboard. Therefore, as a rule, lighter trucks are "better." However, although there are a few truck brands who advertise that they are lighter, the difference in weight between the professional quality trucks is fairly small. The heavier trucks tend to be the cheaper ones made out of cheaper material, often cast in China and not backed or promoted by a professional team.

With almost every aspect of skateboarding gear, the brands that are made by skateboarders and supported by skateboarders, are the best quality products. These include these brands: Independent, Thunder, Venture, Ace, Silver, Royal, Krux, Theeve, Destructo, Ruckus, Force, and probably a couple others.

Check these brands, or any brands that catch your eye, but be sure to see that they are backed by real professional skateboarders before making your purchase if you want to ensure that you're getting professional quality product.

Note: these brands are the most successful brands in contemporary street and park and vert skateboarding. Longboard skateboards have evolved into an entirely different group and while the quality of the products for longboards is just as important, a whole new set of standards and products has emerged designed specifically for those boards. Do research to find out what works for these boards... although Independent, Thunder, Ace and Theeve all have great turning radii for longboards as well.

OK so your looking for a cheap longboard, in the UK where i live you can get them cheap on line. But if you get them cheap, it isn't going to be a good longboard and will get chipped away very quickly. The cheapest longboard you can get is probably them kids one like them Ben 10 ones, so go for a brand the cheapest you will find is probably around £10, and they will not be very good, so just save up for a good one.

There are no trunks on a skateboard, you are probably referring to the "trucks" which are the parts the wheels attatch to.

They're equally fun!... A 'Banana board' is a throwback to the original skateboards of the late '60's and 70's.. they are smaller in size, but can still be lots of fun to ride. I find they are best to ride on smooth surfaces.. I still prefer the mid to late80's decks myself.. SK8!

Yes! It will be way easier to learn how to ollie on a pro board rather than a wal mart board! There is a reason why they sell them at wal-mart! I just got a new pro alien workshop board and I can ollie now! I had a mongoose from walmart and it sucked. I tried for a month and never ollied. Pro boards have lighter trucks and better wheels plus the board is better and lighter. And my griptape is red!!! Walmart is cheap and heavy mine broke after one caveman! Get a pro. It's worth it!
